3 Masked Suspects In Custody After Allegedly Firing At LAPD Officers In South LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Three masked suspects were in custody Tuesday after allegedly opening fire on police officers in South Los Angeles.

The incident began around 6:15 a.m. on W. Florence Avenue between Van Ness and Normandy, officials said.  

Officers were patrolling the area when three men wearing black ski masks ran up and opened fire, according to police.

After a brief search, all three suspects were taken into custody. Police continued to search for a weapon.

No officers were injured in the incident.

    1. I agree, Hatr….. how can three gunmen open fire on a police car and injure no one?

      And all three masked gunmen are captured after a “brief search?”

      I don’t believe a word of this. It sounds to me like it was written to deter people from opening fire on cops, and if that’s the case, there were probably a few incidents of people opening fire on cops, which are not uncommon in L.A., that they don’t want us to know about.

  1. L.A. cops showing restraint and no one harmed after 3 men wear masks and open fire on cops and absolutely no one hurt?!

    Sounds like SCE to me! (their actors will be, anyway)
