Something to think about: Toward the end of this video, the American gets frustrated that his Venezuelan friend is coming to accept the insanity of his situation as normal. At first blush, you nod and think, “Yeah, that should never be accepted as normal.” Then you think about what you know is going on in Syria, Ukraine, South Sudan, Egypt, and Palestine and realize you’re the kettle calling the pot black. What insanities have we accepted as normal?
