Mobile, AL – Gun dealers across the country are still low on certain kinds of ammo. I stopped by the gun show at the Abba Shrine in west Mobile this afternoon for their regular firearms event. Dealers say the peak of the ammunition shortage may be over–but some types are still hard to get.
.22 Caliber rounds are in the highest demand. One dealer I spoke with said he could only buy a small amount of ammunition from his suppliers back in January and February. Today that amount has increased somewhat.
