Assault Rifle vs. Sporting Rifle

Published on Dec 30, 2012 by Sturmgewehre

The media and the anti-gunners are trying to tell Americans that “assault weapons” need to be banned for public safety. The problem is, assault rifles were banned in 1986. What they want to ban now are semi-automatic sporting firearms. The firearms they want to ban account for less than 1% of the firearms used in crime. We need to stop this mindless attack on our Constitutional rights.

  1. The media has no idea what they’re talking about. A rifle that looks like the full auto military version is not much of anything in the way the public is led to believe is an assault rifle. Even with a 20 round magazine. But that’s what the media is about, sensationalism and hyping things up.

  2. First they came for the “assault rifles”, but I was a SPORTSMAN…….. Next they came for the “assault shotguns”, but I was a SPORTSMAN……..
Then they came for the “assault handguns”, but I was a SPORTSMAN…….
So when they came for my single-shot, bolt-action, easily-silenced ………”politician-sniper-murder” rifle ……. you know the rest.
