Gov. Larry Hogan signed an executive order Monday declaring a state of emergency and activating the National Guard. And, Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has issued a citywide curfew to start Tuesday night.
Speaking Monday evening, the mayor issued a curfew to start at 10 p.m. and last until 5 a.m. on school nights. The curfew starts at 9 p.m. for those 14 and under.
Police officers were injured, stores were looted and fires were set Monday evening as vandals ran through Baltimore.

City police say as many as 15 officers have been injured Monday afternoon in northwest Baltimore, where a large group of juveniles converged and began to throw bricks and other items at officers. The officers were injured with broken bones and cuts, and one was unresponsive.

The CVS store at North and Pennsylvania avenues was set on fire around 6:15 p.m. Police have asked motorists to avoid the area of North Avenue between Monroe Street and Druid Hill Avenue.

SkyTeam 11 video showed the same CVS was being looted around 4:45 p.m.
“As the night goes on, you’re going to see us using tear gas and other crowd control techniques so that we can have this end peacefully without any more injuries to our officers or any of the people that are in that community,” Kowalczyk said.

Gov. Larry Hogan’s office released a statement Monday evening, saying: “Today’s looting and acts of violence in Baltimore will not be tolerated. In response, I have put the Maryland National Guard on alert so they can be in position to deploy rapidly as needed. I strongly condemn the actions of the offenders who are engaged in direct attacks against innocent civilians, businesses and law enforcement officers. There is a significant difference between protesting and violence and those committing these acts will be prosecuted under the fullest extent of the law.

  1. and resources (police, firefighters, equipment) are being pulled from surrounding counties and so this can impact a wider region. The mayor of Baltimore requested “equipment” from “up and down the East Coast” to come and assist.

  2. “Those committing these acts will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law” means they will probably be made police officers. If these bitches with badges were actually held accountable there wouldn’t be a reason for the protest to begin with. Damn shame its not the protesters doing this but they’ll take the blame. I wonder why the cops aren’t shooting the people actually attacking them… must be because they’re armed.

    1. “I wonder why the cops aren’t shooting the people actually attacking them…”

probably because they know the pig slaughter would commence so hard and heavy that they all wouldn’t “go home to their families”

plus , this is what they want .. this is what they are provoking .. they want this thing to go hot , so they have a reason to bring in the big guns and get this party started, guess we will see if Baltimore is the start or not , but you can bet there will be new “laws” for us made out of this

      1. No, it’s because there’s so many agent provocateurs, they likely would shoot one. That’s why there’s a stand-down order. Let the agent provocateurs do their work during the stand-down order. Park lots of unattended police cars to be trashed. Anyone notice how many unattended police cars are just parked around? wtf? And what do they show on TV? The police cars being trashed. It’s one of the greatest images to sway the public (sheeple) onto the side of the “officials”.

  3. From http://www.breakingnews.com

911 operators are not answering calls. Calls going unanswered.
Fire Department ran out of units. What I do not understand is why they did not call for mutual aid early when they KNEW fires were going to be started. The whole city acted like nothing was going to happen Yesterday. When people see that the looters were having a field day Sunday Monday they hit all kinds of stores looted the mall and were bringing out clothes TV’s and after they ran sacked the CVS they burned it to the ground. Fires went on till I went to bed at Midnight. POLICE had call after call from store robberies to shootings to gangs roaming in groups of 30 and 40 people.

  4. Sorry, I don’t trust this fear porn pusher POS DAHBOO77.
I smell ‘jews’ behind him…like alex jones.
I suspect he’s trying to gain ‘credibility’ and trust like alex jones did with waco.
That’s why (I suspect) ‘jewtube’ hasn’t canceled his channel…he’s being groomed.

  5. Why a curfew for kids under 14? Is that who’s doing the damage? I can’t listen to this Dahboo77 idiot because he doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about, and he’s delivering more drama than facts.

If it were a real riot, the damage would be done by guys in their twenties. Little kids are going to throw rocks whenever they can get away with it.

I”m also hearing about rioters being from “out-of-town”, but I”m not sure someone can make that claim without seeing them being bussed in. (Baltimore is a big enough city that you wouldn’t know them if they were from the other side of town)

And, I’m reading this morning that Rev. Al is on his way, and if they sent in that clown it’s definitely a staged media circus.

It’s looking like another staged riot. Some people may have gotten angry and threw a few rocks, and the government whores jumped on the opportunity to beef it up. Cop cars were left unattended so they can be smashed, and the mayor told cops to “give the rioters space”.

From now on I’m not going to believe these things are real unless a few cops get shot. If they were genuinely rioting out of anger against cops, I think that would have happened early on.

    1. I might be wrong JR, but I think Baltimore already has a curfew in place (9 p.m.) for 14 and younger. This new curfew today (10 p.m. to 5 a.m.) is for 17 and younger.

  6. The American cops have bragged to our faces that no matter what they can handle it. Now get them out on the street corners handling it. That should stop them dead in there tracks with laughter. There brag time to live up to the brag boy’s and girl’s. Fun day is over now do some honest work for once. You don’t work go home and let us hire some who will work. End of problem. You do not beat down people for making eye contact with you, speaking to you or just for standing in sight of you on there own property. Or take department revenge on people for doing such. Been there and had you pull such and much more. You made the problem you solve the problem!

Not in the video Ryan & I watched.

Looked like the PRESS outnumbered the ‘protesters’.
