Mid-20th century Feminism has taught us that women don’t need men, that we can do anything men can do from business to close combat, that taking on the worst behavior of promiscuous men is desirable, and that we can avoid the physical and emotional consequences that result. Chivalry is long since dead: Feminism declared it the relic of an oppressive patriarchal society rather than what it was: a standard that held women up in order to protect them. And they have convinced themselves that any differences between the sexes exist because they have been artificially imposed by men. Meanwhile men have been emasculated and fathers relegated to mere sperm donors.
Has anyone noticed all the heroines in our films and television shows in recent years? No longer are chivalrous men protecting vulnerable women. FromAlias to La Femme Nikita to any female-centric film you can name, the women are portrayed as fighting machines (with guns), often rescuing their male counterparts. You know these films. Michelle Rodriguez plays the same exact cardboard badass in so many of them. They take down fighting man after fighting man. But this is all fiction – take it from a female black belt and Iraq War veteran. And don’t get me started on that twig LeeLee Sobieski on NYC22 playing a veteran who can take down street thugs. The reality is that even Rhonda Rousey isn’t put in the ring with male fighters.
If women could do the same things men can, there wouldn’t be separate standards for them in police work, firefighting, and the military, or as is true in some cases, lower standards for both sexes that women can pass. Most women can’t wield the fire hose, carry a 200-lb man off the battlefield, or take down a male criminal. The last example was proved just recently when a female cop was overpowered by a criminal who had been taken into custody. He stole her gun and three cops were shot.
Yes, some women are stronger than some men, but they are never stronger than strong men, and a woman without a weapon is no match for a man who wants to do her harm, even if she knows how to fight. I earned that black belt, I became a Marine, I went to the combat zone. But I also got cancer, and what happens when you can no longer physically fight? What if you don’t want to fight? How many women or moms, married or not, have time to train to become proficient fighters to be ready for that one random time the criminal comes at them in the parking lot? You need to be able to own a weapon for self-defense if you choose. You need to be able to nullify the threat before it comes down to hand-to-hand combat.

No matter how much the Feminists rail, and no matter how many times Hollywood portrays heroic fighting women, women are the weaker sex. This doesn’t mean lesser, it just means physically weaker and that’s a fact no amount of affirmative action or double standards can change. Leave it to hypocritical liberals and feminists to ignore scientific reality in favor of the brave new world they want to force into existence. You would think that girl-power philosophy would extend to empowering women to protect ourselves with any weapon available, especially after teaching us for so long that we don’t need men. But no, the hypocrisy is ubiquitous. Women don’t need men and they don’t need weapons either. Feminism thus fails women.
Existing and new gun control laws coupled with Feminist ideals just means that we all have to become fighters, whether we want to or not. A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle until a strong man decides to take advantage of her and/or her children. For 50 years now we’ve been taught that government will fill that void, but of course, the police usually come only come after a crime has been committed. And now the cop might be some chick who made it on a double standard who gets overpowered by the criminal in your home. Without a strong man to provide for and protect her, she not only must be a bread-winner, she must be a black belt – unless she can arm herself for protection. Guns are the real equalizer between the sexes.

As a man I take great offense to being called just a “sperm donor”. My wife told me I’m much more than that. She said “you are a sperm donor, a maintenance man, and a paycheck”. So there!

Great article. Thanks for the strong, anti-establishment, rational and intelligent opinion coming from a woman who has actually walked the walk. There are few too few voices speaking the truth. Both sexes are needed. Both have value. And yes, both feminism (per it’s disposable male indoctrination) and disarmament or restriction in the availability of firearms will cause continued decay in the fabric of society.
I’m old enough to remember the beginning of the Feminist Movement. In those days, we were just beginning to get educated about our bodies (what is a clitoris?), we were rebelling against job listings in newspapers as “male” and “female.” The only ones listed in “female” were teachers, nurses, clerks, secretaries, and house cleaners). But, more than that, we were beginning to explore what a woman would be if she were free to be her whole self, and to value the contributions that women have made to the world. There was a recognition of the differences between masculine and feminine energies. There were explorations into the spiritual nature of the feminine. The idea was to liberate women from their stifling and trivialized role. Womanhood should begin to receive the respect that it deserves.
Then, Judas goats like Gloria Steinem (who was dating Henry Kissinger) began taking over the women’s movement with Ms. Magazine. She and other media connected minions managed to radically change the “feminist” agenda. Now, the focus turned to being “free” to act like men. We can have shallow uncommitted sex, become pilots and soldiers, single parents, executives, and cops. But, we forgot about being women. Somehow it became about being gay.
So, now we have the children raised in daycare while their mothers work in jobs outside the home. It takes two paychecks to cover the expenses that one used to handle. Gangs have taken over the role of the “family” that has deteriorated since the mothers have left the building. Now there’s more mindless tits and ass on Huffington Post than would have been allowed in a 1950′s Playboy magazine. Female soldiers are being raped in the military, and now kids have to live with mommy as well as daddy having post traumatic stress syndrome.

After I finished replacing the last 10 old windows in my mothers house my sister hatched a plan to replace all the windows in her home with her and her male secretary doing all the removal and installation work. I scoffed at the idea and my mother scolded me and informed me that “you don’t know, they can watch a video and learn……”. The entire plan was dashed when I said “Sure they can watch every video in the world but just who is going to lift the windows for them?”.
I have also noticed the female arse kickers in TV and movies these days. One thing not mentioned in the article and commonly seen in shows like Bones is upon the discovery of something grisly/yucky it is nearly always the women who are the strong ones with the man/men letting out screams of horror and disgust. I saw an episode the other day where two big garbage truck guys screamed like little (dare I say) girls upon the sight of a corpse.
Consider the rape victim with PTSD. Owning a weapon can help her restore a sense of control, give her the self confidence that the attacker destroyed. Well, gee… She has a history of PTSD now, so she can’t protect herself from the next rape with a gun… sucks to be her!

I must be an extremely old fogie, because I have gone to work and paid the bills while my wife has stayed home and raised my sons. Also home-schooled them, handled the finances, and so on. She has been precious and extremely important. What can feminism offer that compares with that? In the old system, women ruled the roost. The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world. Lies have replaced truth. Conspiracy, anyone?

Before feminism, women were able to be sweetly feminine, but there were plenty of fiesty, mama-bear types that would tear your head off if you threatened their loved ones.
The irony of feminism is that women are now unable to be either sweet or strong. We have replaced the stout woman who lived on the frontier with a modern, brainless consumer, who is desperately trying to stay young and blaming men for “forcing” her to act so vain.
I am currently trying to find a discussion thread on youTube(to link to from this article) that I saw a year or more ago. The clip was from an an old 50′s era horror movie and the discussion thread was a group of young guys discussing how much they wish that the girls they know from their own generation could be more like the girls they see in old movies.
I guess some feminists might label these guys as misogynists but what it really does show is that at least some young blokes are not happy with what’s going on and even though educated with ‘modern concepts’ they still know that something just isn’t right.
Feminism, like the gay agenda and abortion, were all NWO creations, designed specifically to destroy the family unit.

Women are finally realizing that it is detrimental to their existence to compete with men. Women are designed to compliment men, not compete. And vice versa.
The fact that a woman posted this makes me very happy. It shows that not all women have lowered themselves into oblivion, taking the family unit with them.
Yes, the movement got corrupted. And now that women no longer lead the moral code, pretty much everything else has gotten corrupted too. The women did not realize the power they really had over society. The pornification of women has destroyed our society.
