Biden to light ‘National Menorah’

JTA

WASHINGTON (JTA) — Vice President Joe Biden will assist in the lighting this year of the Hanukkah menorah on the ellipse in front of the White House.

Biden’s participation on Dec. 16, the first night of the holiday, marks the 35th anniversary of the first lighting of the “National Menorah,” an event sponsored by American Friends of Lubavitch, the Washington office of the Chabad movement.

It has become a tradition for Cabinet-level U.S. officials to assist in the lighting.

I believe the tradition involved the lighting of a national Christmas tree; NOT a menorah. Do we even have a national Christmas tree anymore, or was that too offensive to the 1.6% of the population that’s Jewish, who have stuffed this crap into our faces instead?

I find a menorah offensive, because it celebrates the religion of racist, supremacist, murderers who have been causing the rest of the human race incalculable suffering over the last 2000 years.

“Oy, Vey….2000 years of suffering”…. Yes. That’s 2000 years of suffering that the Jews have inflicted on the rest of mankind, but as usual, they claim victim status and blame everyone else. What about that Jewish tradition? What do we light on fire to remind us of their brutality, violence, theft, pedophilia, usury, and endless war mongering?
