WEST CAPE MAY —  Cape May Ptl. Scott Krissinger didn’t hesitate when he saw a burning truck on Sunset Boulevard in West Cape May Monday — he ran up and pulled the driver to safety, according to nbcphiladelphia.com.

Then he went back to see if there was anyone else inside.

The entire episode was caught on video shot by the dashboard camera of Krissinger’s patrol car shortly after 6 p.m.

The driver, Gerald Ferrill, 61, of Mays Landing, is in critical but stable condition at nearby hospital.
