Did Ferguson PD Move the Shell Casings?

American Everyman – by Scott Creighton

Take a look at this and remember what Officer Wilson said about the shooting.

First of, here is an graphic showing what was presented to the Grand Jury about where the evidence was collected at the scene of the Mike Brown shooting. It comes from the Washington Post.

Here is a transcript of Darren Wilson’s testimony.

Q: ‘What type of weapon did your carry?’

A: ’I carry Sig Sauer, a P229 .40 caliber.’

The Sig Sauer P229 ejects spent shell casings upward and to the right

….‘When I passed the second one, about the same time, he stopped running and he is at that light pole. So when he stopped, I stopped. And then he starts to turn around. I tell him to get on the ground. He turns and when he looked at me, he made like a grunting, like aggravated sound and he starts, he turns and he’s coming towards me, he kind of does like a stutter step to start running. When he does that, his left hand goes in a fist and goes to his side. His right one goes under his shirt in his waistband and he starts running at me.”

… ‘Well, after the last shot my tunnel vision kind of opened up. I remember seeing the smoke from the gun and I kind of looked at him and he’s still coming at me, he hadn’t slowed down. At this point I start backpedaling and again, I tell him to get on the ground, he doesn’t. I shoot another round of shots. Again, I don’t recall how many it was or if I hit him every time. I know at least once because he flinched again

…. ‘Well, he keeps coming at me after that again, during the pause I tell him to get on the ground, get on the ground, he still keeps coming at me, gets about eight to ten feet away. At this point I’m backing up pretty rapidly, I’m backpedaling pretty good because I know if he reaches me, he’ll kill me. Darren Wilson testimony

From what Wilson said during his ABC interview, Mike was 35-40 feet away from him when he started firing. Then he claims he continued backing up as Mike “rushed at him” with his hand in his pants til he was about 10 feet away and that is when he fired the majority of the shots and killed Mike.

Is that chain of events supported by the marked locations of the shell casings?

Remember, the Sig Sauer, a P229 ejects casings up and to the right, not forward. He would have had to fire the final flurry of shots with Mike Brown standing on him and close range wounds like that would have been accompanied by gunshot residue or powder burns, which they were not.

Also remember, 15 witnesses offered testimony which is directly contradictory to this layout of the evidence with most of those saying Darren Wilson came out of his truck firing immediately and continued firing until Mike fell.

So either way, this graphic which was the official version of the location of the casings and other evidence, can’t be correct.

The question is, how did the casings end up in these locations? The crowd couldn’t have moved them. That leaves only one possibility.

  1. My question is: Why was his buddy not arrested and/or killed or charged with the killing. We see the pigs charging people if you are involved in a crime with someone doing the crime?
