Divide and Conquer in Ferguson

divide-and-conquerVeterans Today – by Jonas E. Alexis

Let us do some thought experiment here. Suppose President Obama wakes up one day and declares that he is going to pay all non-U.S. citizens to leave the country as soon as possible.

What do you think would happen? Wouldn’t you see people marching on the streets of Washington with signs saying that this is wrong?

Yet in Israel, our “closest” and “friendliest” ally, things get very interesting. Listen to this:

“Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman proposed on Friday that Arab citizens of Israel be offered financial incentives to leave the country and relocate to a future Palestinian state.

“Lieberman, one of the most strident voices in favor of the separation of Jews and Arabs, said Palestinians living in Jaffa and Acre, two mixed cities on the Mediterranean coast far from the West Bank, should be encouraged to move if they want.

“Those (Israeli Arabs) who decide that their identity is Palestinian will be able to forfeit their Israeli citizenship and move and become citizens of the future Palestinian state,” he wrote in the manifesto, entitled Swimming Against the Stream, published on his Facebook page and his party’s website.

“‘Israel should even encourage them to do so with a system of economic incentives,’ he said.”

Israeli terrorists have already started to implement Lieberman’s plan. Just recently, they

set fire to a classroom in an Arab-Jewish school in Jerusalem…targeting a symbol of co-existence in a city on edge over a recent surge in violence…‘Death to Arabs’ had been scrawled on a schoolyard wall.”

Rabbi Susan Talve

Where is the ADL? Where is organized Jewry? Where are the Jewish ideologues whose parents played a pivotal role in the Civil Rights Movement? Are they too busy agitating the riots in Ferguson?

The Jewish Daily Forward has recently put out an article entitled, “Jewish Groups Call for Civil Discussion on Race After Ferguson Decision.”[1] In the same vein, Rabbi Susan Talve took the opportunity to spark another form of “civil rights” revolution. Of the Ferguson debacle, she wrote,

“This is a historical moment that has the potential to grow a movement that pushes the demands for civil rights further in this country, regardless of the outcome of the grand jury in the Michael Brown case….

“So, I stand with the protestors because the death of Michael Brown was a tipping point for me and many others who were ready to say enough to profiling of young black men by the police in St. Louis and beyond.

“I stand with the protestors because they have their fingers on the pulse for change and are demanding the entire St. Louis community to step out of our comfort zones day and night.”

Why doesn’t Talve stand with protesters in Palestine against the racist state of Israel? Why doesn’t she stand with protesters right here in America? Where was she when the Dreadful Few fired professors Norman Finkelstein and Steven Salaita? Where is she when we need her, when serious people cannot even begin to ask fundamental questions about historical accounts?

I’d like Rabbi Talve to email me and I’ll put her in touch with Fredrick Toben, who was instructed by his supervisor “not to ask the WHY question because students could find that too confronting!”

Toben and I were trained in philosophy and we both know that the “why question” can lead to metaphysical reality or disturbing conclusions. For example, why did Hitler have at least 150,000 people of Jewish descent in the Third Reich? If he really wanted to exterminate all the Jews of Europe, why did he not exterminate those Jews as well? Why did he save his own Jewish doctor from being persecuted? Can we seriously believe that the man sought to vaporize all the Jews of Europe?

You simply cannot begin philosophy or philosophy of science or history without probing into metaphysical questions, and yet Toben was being told that he needs to seal his lips and lower his intellectual standard and expectation!

As Toben put it, “The asking of basic questions about matters Holocaust was asking offensive questions.” This goes against virtually everything that the West stands for precisely because, as Toben continued to say, “the bedrock of our civilization is truth…”

Toben, like historian of science Nicholas Kollerstrom and others, was not willing to lower his standard and has paid a huge price.

Will Talve support Toben and other serious academics and intellectuals who are asking deeper questions about the Holocaust and the Dreadful Few? Will she take a look at Professor James Fetzer’s recent article and rationally respond to it? Will she denounce Kollerstrom as a Holocaust denier and an anti-Semite?

Going back to the Ferguson debacle, if Darren Wilson is a racist, then are we willing to say that Travis Austin, a black police officer who shot an 18-year old white man who was under the influence of drugs, a racist?[2]

What is so astonishing about the Ferguson debacle is that journalists, activists, and commentators who have never faced with life-and-death situations or even split-second decisions were quick to say that police officer Darren Wilson is a racist who simply took pleasure in gunning down an unharmed teenager.

To make matters worse, the New York Times even published Darren Wilson’s address!

In other words, members of the Dreadful Few want the debacle in Ferguson to go on forever. They also want Wilson to be dead.[3] Some neoconservatives indirectly makes this point, but they blame the “Left” for the insurrection in Ferguson.

For example, Matthew Vadum of Front Page Magazine declared that “the Left is now trying to inflict as much pain as possible on black Americans in order to drive them to open revolt.”

Well, Mr. Vadum, who has been supporting the “Left” from time immemorial? Listen to Russell Jacoby in his work The Last Intellectuals: American Culture in the Age of Academe:

“The Jewish contribution to the Left in the United States during the twentieth century ranks the highest of any immigrant or ethnic group…American Jewry has provided socialist organizations and movements with disproportionate number—sometimes approaching or surpassing a majority—of their leaders, activists, and supporters.”[4]

While the Jews were only 3 percent of the population, they were the majority in the New Left, continues Jacoby.[5]

In short, the Dreadful Few want stupid Goyim to slaughter each other. “Racial” conflict is the best way to kill two birds with one tone. And when people get tired of slaughtering each other, the Dreadful Few can again do whatever they want because there will be no serious opposition.

The Dreadful Few also know that if America happens to have a “race” war, virtually everyone will end up talking about their hatred or anger towards their fellow human beings and forgetting about the ultimate and big issue facing America, namely, perpetual wars in the Middle East, Jewish bankers who continue to reduce the economic landscape to ashes, and the Neoconservatives/Neo-Bolsheviks who are pushing for more bloody conflict in virtually every country that they do not like or any country that challenges Jewish hegemony.

For example, who knows that at least 5,640 people killed last month in Iraq due to perpetual wars? Who knows that at least 465 more were wounded in the same country? Who knows that “the best figure for money spent on Washington’s war on terror, including the Iraq and Afghan wars, is four trillion dollars”? Who knows that the United States “sends 3,000 ‘smart bombs’ to Israel that killed thousands in Gaza this summer”?[6]

Obviously not the average American who is lost in the Ferguson debacle.

In that sense, the event in Ferguson, though important, is a distraction that blinds people to see the real enemy behind the closet.

Furthermore, people who are quick to shout “racism” cannot seriously address this vitally important issue: “for every 1,000 black babies born in New York City, 1,2223 are aborted.” Aren’t those mothers who aborted those babies racist? Why don’t con men like Al Sharpton go after those mothers?

There are other issues that the Dreadful Few would not dare to touch. Thomas Sowell himself acknowledged last year that there

“are innumerable organized and unprovoked physical attacks on whites by young black gangs in shopping malls, on beaches and in other public places all across the country today.

“While some of these attacks make it into the media as isolated incidents, the nationwide pattern of organized black on white attacks by thugs remains invisible in the mainstream media, with the notable exception of Bill O’Reilly on the Fox News Channel.

“Even when these attacks are accompanied by shouts of anti-white rhetoric and exultant laughter at the carnage, the racial makeup of the attackers and their victims is usually ignored by the media, and public officials often deny that race has anything to do with what happened…

“When the Chicago Tribune was criticized for editing out the race of the attackers in a series of similar organized attacks in Chicago, it replied that race was irrelevant. Yet race is not considered irrelevant when indignantly editorializing on a disproportionate number of young black males arrested and imprisoned”

In another article, Sowell continued to declare,

“Young blacks are especially susceptible to the message that all their problems are caused by white people — and that white society is never going to give them a chance. In short, they are primed to resent and hate individuals they have never seen before and who have never done a thing to them.

“During the same week when Bob Costas was criticizing the name ‘Washington Redskins,’ the New York Daily News reported an incident in which a gang of young blacks attacked a white couple in a car, beating the man severely and dragging the woman out of the car by her hair down to the pavement, and beating her as well — all the while shouting racist obscenities.

“Episodes like this have occurred repeatedly, in dozens of cities, all across the country. The only thing that was missing in this particular episode were public assurances from police authorities and the mayor that race had nothing to do with what happened. Such dishonest assurances have been common in the wake of such plainly racist attacks.”

Sowell largely blamed the media for not reporting those horrific incidents. But the scholar who has been the Rose and Milton Friedman Senior Fellow in Public Policy at the Hoover Institution since 1980 never bothers to ask the deeper question: who owns or controls the media?

Perhaps Sowell needs to get in touch with Jewish writers and journalists such as Manny Friedman of the Times of Israel, Joel Stein of the LA Times, and Neal Gabler, who wrote Empire of their Own.

When Stein found out that “only 22% of Americans now believe ‘the movie and television industries are pretty much run by Jews,” he declared, “Actually, it just shows how dumb America has gotten. Jews totally run Hollywood.”

In the same vein, Friedman wrote in the summer of 2012:

“Let’s be honest with ourselves, here, fellow Jews. We do control the media. We’ve got so many dudes up in the executive offices in all the big movie production companies it’s almost obscene.

“Just about every movie or TV show, whether it be ‘Tropic Thunder’ or ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm,’ is rife with actors, directors, and writers who are Jewish. Did you know that all eight major film studios are run by Jews? But that’s not all. We also control the ads that go on those TV shows.

“And let’s not forget AIPAC, every anti-Semite’s favorite punching bag. We’re talking an organization that’s practically the equivalent of the Elders of Zion.

“I’ll never forget when I was involved in Israeli advocacy in college and being at one of the many AIPAC conventions. A man literally stood in front of us and told us that their whole goal was to only work with top-50 school graduate students because they would eventually be the people making changes in the government.

“Here I am, an idealistic little kid that goes to a bottom 50 school (ASU) who wants to do some grassroots advocacy, and these guys are literally talking about infiltrating the government. Intense.”

Ferguson protesters hurt their own cause when they literally shot down Interstate-5 in La Jolla the during morning rush hour. No one was able to drive—and people had to go to work to feed their family! Thousands of drivers just stopped their cars and some started complaining.

At that point, a black guy by the name of Tyree Landrum angrily got out of his car and confronted those protesters saying,

“I’m about to lose my job and you guys are out here protesting. I got to go to Ross right now. If I don’t get there, I’m going to get fired. Mother fuckers get shot every fucking day. Deal with it the right way, not like this.”

Another black guy made a video in which he declared that the community needs to “take some responsibility, teach your kids something; violence and looting isn’t the answer; don’t glorify ignorance; change how you’re perceived.”

A much more rational response was produced by Voddie Baucham:

In a specific article, Baucham did not mince words when he said,

“There is indeed an epidemic of violence against black men. However, that violence, more often than not, occurs at the hands of other black men. In fact, black men are several times more likely to be murdered at the hands of another black man than they are to be killed by the police.

“For instance, in the FBI homicide stats from 2012, there were 2,648 blacks murdered. Of those, 2,412 were murdered by members of their own ethnic group.

“Thus, if I am going to speak out about anything, it will be black-on-black crime; not blue-on-black. If a few black men being killed by cops requires a national “dialogue,” what in the world does the overwhelming number of black-on-black murders require?

“In addition to violence, black men are plagued with criminality. Low-income black communities like Ferguson know all too well that black criminals preying on their neighbors makes life almost unlivable.

“Growing up in South Central Los Angeles, I know all too well what it’s like to have bars on the windows and doors for fear that thugs will break in to steal or kill.

“I remember being robbed at gunpoint on my way home from the store one day. It was one of the most frightening and disheartening events of my life. The fear, helplessness, and anger I felt stayed with me for years. And it taught me an unfortunate lesson: the greatest threat to me was other black men.

“The underlying malady that gives rise to all the rest of these epidemics is immorality and fatherlessness. We know that fatherlessness is the number one indicator of future violence, dropout rates, out-of-wedlock births, and future incarceration. And in the black community, more than 70 percent of all children are born out of wedlock! Fatherlessness is the bane of the black community.

“Nor is this plague forced on us. It is as common as morning dew, and as overlooked as dust under a refrigerator. Where are the marches against this travesty? Where are the protestors who demand better?

“Where are the black ‘leaders’ who . . . oh, that’s right, they have just as many illegitimate children as anyone else. Again, it is common knowledge that this is the most immediate root cause of the ills plaguing black Americans.”

Former NBA star Charles Barkley has recently called the looters in Ferguson “scumbags” and has even highly praised police officers like Wilson who voluntarily chose to work in black neighborhoods to make a difference. Barkley added,

“I can’t believe anything I hear on television anymore. And, that’s why I don’t like talking about race issues with the media anymore, because they (the media) love this stuff, and lead people to jump to conclusions. The media shouldn’t do that. They never do that when black people kill each other…

“There is no excuse for people to be out there burning down people’s businesses, burning down police cars…

“[W]e have to be really careful with the cops, because if it wasn’t for the cops we would be living in the Wild, Wild West in our neighborhoods. We can’t pick out certain incidentals that don’t go our way and act like the cops are all bad…. Do you know how bad some of these neighborhoods would be if it wasn’t for the cops?”

Barkley also agreed that George Zimmerman did the right thing when he shot Trayvon Martin:

“That’s probably not a popular opinion among most people. But just looking at the evidence, I agreed with the verdict.”

And then Jonathan Gentry brought the whole house down:

Barkley, Gentry and Baucham have got guts. They have every right to say something meaningful precisely because the culture in which many of those black teenagers are raised simply breeds rebellion against ANY authority, most particularly the police.[7] For example, listen to Ice-T’s “cop killer” and N.W.A.’ “Fuck Da police”:

You see, the Dreadful Few want to support the Ferguson madness, but they do not want to support the disadvantaged in the Middle East. Why? Because once the Dreadful Few are in control, you don’t tell them what to do. You take orders from them.

As we have already seen, don’t the Dreadful Few fire or harass academics and decent people who criticize Israel? Once again, why are people like Denis Rancourt out of job? Why did the Dreadful Few literally juice Bishop Williamson for his opinions?

Israel has recently proposed that there ought to be “Jewish nation-state law.”[8] Check the ADL’s website and see if you can find any article opposing this. The answer may surprise you.

For Jewish organizations like the ADL, Israel cannot be a racist state, but America is. Listen to Abraham Foxman in response to the debacle in Ferguson:

“Fifty years after the passage of the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964, our society is still not free from bias, racial prejudice, and discrimination. African-Americans are still the most frequent targets of hate crimes in America, black students are suspended or expelled from our public schools at a much higher rate than white students, and there are many other examples that show the continuing racial divide.

“This is an appropriate moment to look at ourselves honestly, to confront the prejudice and bigotry that tarnish our society, and to commit ourselves to ensuring that we have a justice system that all Americans can trust.”

Is Foxman seriously telling us that he doesn’t know anything about what Lieberman said?  Why does this man continue to play by Talmudic standard?

Last August, the ADL even sent a letter to President Obama, which read in part:

“Dear Mr. President,

“We are writing to welcome your call on Americans to ‘seek out our shared humanity’ in the aftermath of the shooting of Michael Brown.

“We applaud the rigorous engagement of Attorney General Holder and the Department of Justice to ensure that justice, civil rights and public safety are served…

“ADL has a century long record of fighting stereotyping—a component of racial profiling—based on immutable characteristics…The use of race, ethnicity, or any such criterion as a sole basis for criminal suspicion fuels what you called ‘the gulf of mistrust’ between communities and law enforcement and stands in conflict with the core values of law enforcement and the communities they are bound to serve…

“We are eager to work with you to carry forward your moving call on Americans to engage in a reflective process of healing that fosters understanding and justice over division and mistrust.”

Sounds like Foxman is a loving and caring individual, doesn’t it? Now, pay close attention to this. This was proposed to Foxman a few months ago:

Chemi Shalev: You don’t think that “Muslim-baiting” is much more acceptable in the mainstream media than, say, “Jew-baiting”? There is a Congressman now who is calling for the authorities to keep track of the entire Muslim community.

Foxman: I don’t think that’s Muslim-baiting. It’s a natural response. It may be wise or unwise. But I think America’s got an issue now, and not only America. You look at France, you look at London, you look at Amsterdam—most of these incidents have come from Muslim communities that have been brought in and are not assimilating.

“Just like after 9/11, America is now questioning where the balance is between security and freedom of expression: Should we follow the ethnic communities? Should we be monitoring mosques? This isn’t Muslim-baiting—it’s driven by fear, by a desire for safety and security.”

Now you know that Foxman, like his Talmudic brethren, is a joke.
