Suspected drunk drivers in some metro counties are getting a rude surprise when they refuse a breathalyzer test.

Instead of taking no for an answer, officers now obtain a search warrant to forcibly draw blood and get evidence for the case.

The key word: forcibly.

  1. Amazingly enough, some people still believe they live in a free country.

WAKE UP!!! This ain’t freedom, people!

  2. Cops are some of the biggest drunks aroud so I am sure that they are going to sit outside of those cop bars and bust them then too…….Anyway it looks like easy money by way of lawsuit if they give a blood test and it turned up negative……….. Looks like there was a waste of somebodys blood at the 5 min mark and I think it was the 2 min mark also and other times. looked like a lot of blood spilled on that floor.

    1. Don’t you think the Georgia sorry excuse for a sheriff already has that base covered by having “special” employees at the contracted lab to see that those blood tests are always “positive” for alcohol?

  3. “Each year drunk drivers kill more Americans than the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan combined.”

I guess the more than 1.5 million native people killed in Iraq and Afghanistan don’t count at Faux News.

Another point: all it would take is one lawsuit against that jailhouse nurse for her to lose her license and be prosecuted for assault and battery. Her professional code of conduct requires her to respect the right of anyone to refuse any medical intervention, which drawing blood is.

    Effing Georgia bolsheviks.
