In a brilliant act of political satire, someone has created a petition to the white house here to create a gun free zone around the President and Vice President. All guns would be eliminated there, and the Secret Service would not have any.
If it is good enough for our children, It is good enough for the president, the logic goes.
I am constantly amazed that people are perfectly comfortable around someone with a gun, if the person is wearing a uniform. Remove the uniform, and the same people become very uncomfortable.

Normally, I’m not a huge fan of petitions, but this one has my unmitigated support and approval.

I’d like to sign the petition, but I am a little hesitant as I am curious as to why the White House needs to verify my email address in order for me to setup an account. As if they will go around and start killing people who signed it or something. Whatever happen to anonymous signing or voting? Maybe I’m just being paranoid.

There’s no higher designation available beyond that, that I know of.
It is possible, though it would probably be mainly for high value ex-military, as they are the ones our so-called ‘government’ fear most.

They are ordering us what to eat, drink, smoke, f#@k. ALL of this is in violation of English law going back to about 1000 years before the Magna Carta.
