Former MLB player Jose Canseco says he’s selling his detached digit on eBay.

The Canseco finger saga started in October when the Cuban-born, former Miami resident accidentally shot it off. Doctors reattached his finger, but apparently not well enough. Last Thursday while at a poker game, it fell off.

Canseco tweeted Monday night that he’d be selling the finger, along with the .45 caliber Remington gun that shot it off. Canseco hasn’t listed the items for sale as of yet, and didn’t mention a price.  

“The eBay ad will read slightly used middle finger with 462 home runs could be used as a stirring straw for drinks,” Canseco tweeted.

It’s unclear how Canseco plans on listing both items for sale since eBay’s selling policy forbids the sale of both firearms and body parts.

    besides he missed his target , so not only is he an irresponsible gun owner , he’s a lousy shot

    look at the tweet where he blames the gun for shooting off the finger .. NOOOOOO your the idiot that shot off your own finger ..

    dont need baffoons like this representing anything to do with firearms , or getting any attention for it

  4. I guess he lost everything in the poker game, but I can’t imagine who would be dumb enough to buy it. What the hell would you do with this idiot’s finger?

    Maybe a “collector” would buy it? “In this jar of formaldehyde, I have a finger that some moron shot off of his hand. Over here I have one that was chopped off by a table saw. That finger over there was amputated by a hatchet”.

    Yes, put it on e-bay, and lock up the idiot who buys it because he’s insane.
