Illinois police officer shot and killed; 3 suspects at large

Chicago Tribune – by Dan Hinkel

A Fox Lake police officer was shot and killed Tuesday morning, and a massive manhunt with dogs and helicopters was underway along Rollins Road in Lake County.

The officer was pursuing people described as suspicious around 8 a.m. Tuesday, according to Lake County Undersheriff Raymond Rose.

Officers responding to the scene to help the officer found him in a marshy area, stripped of his gun and other gear, Rose said. He died at the scene, the undersheriff said.

Fox Lake manhuntPolice have established a perimeter and are seeking one black male and two white males, Rose said.

“If (residents) see anybody in their area … that doesn’t belong or doesn’t look right, they should call 911,” he said.

Police, with the help of U.S. marshals, were searching woods and businesses in the area, authorities said.

Fox Lake manhuntEvery law enforcement agency in the area, along with a regional SWAT team, was assisting, according to George Filenko, commander of the Lake County Major Crime Task Force.

The search prompted officials at Grant Community High School to put the building on lockdown.

Fox Lake manhunt“Grant Community High School is currently in a lockdown at the request of the Fox Lake Police Department,” read a statement posted at grantbulldogs.org. “A police matter is occurring in the community and for the safety of our students and staff they have requested we remain locked down.”

Metra’s Milwaukee District North Line has also been shut down because of the search, the agency said.

  1. I think the farmer is correct… either that, or….

they have hired a huge amount of bad cops who have been
victimizing innocent people for too long, and the people have had enough.

  2. “Officers responding to the scene to help the officer found him in a marshy area, stripped of his gun and other gear,…”

The only thing that POS was good for… supplies.

    1. always get a laugh out of your comments
this dead pig will get a grandeous funeral at our expense while the average person gets whatever the family can pay for.
the establishment needs to give these pigs grandeous funerals so they think they matter when all these dumb f@#$s are doing is supporting a corrupt system that will toss them aside when it suits them

      1. It seems I possess an endless supply of cutting sarcasm and unmitigated cynicism these days, Waka Moto. It goes with the territory. But I have to throw in some levity or I’d be depressed as hell about our situation, and I’d much rather be pissed as hell (which I DEFINITELY AM!).

You’ve been posting for a bit here, so on behalf of FTT I’d like to welcome you to THE best truther site around. I haven’t posted on any other sites in well over a year.

  3. My .02 is that they’ve let cia operatives loose. Exactly for what Farmer described. Totally desensitize the bastards so they have no qualms about gunning you down. As if its not already happening. Just make them count when the time comes.

  4. “Police have established a perimeter and are seeking one black male and two white males, Rose said.”

    DAMN!

There goes their ‘hate crime’ excuse.

“If (residents) see anybody in their area … that doesn’t belong or doesn’t look right, they should call 911,” he said.”

    By all means, do so.

That way the pigs can kill another STUPID person.

  5. The Farmer has a good point, and so does George. Both theories of causation are possible at this point, but I have to go with George for these reasons:
    1. I don’t think this would work as a tactic to turn cops against the people (but that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t try), and that goal has already been accomplished to its fullest possibility through their training and the reinforcement of their cop sub-culture. (it would be difficult for cops to justify additional brutality because a few of theirs get shot, and disarming the American people is a line that probably very few of them are willing to cross)

    2. People are real tired of this police brutality campaign (reign of terror), and the government in general. Police shootings should be expected at this point, and I think they should be a lot more frequent by now. (they’re ALWAYS the first targets of revolution)

  6. My 1/2 cent: I think it’s not an either/or, but all of the above are correct. The hoaxes and false flag atrocities for the past 2 or 3 decades have all been sloppy with in-your-face transparencies that those of us awake and digging have picked apart. It keeps us busy, which I believe is intended; it keeps us diverted, which I believe is intended; and it keeps us divided from a large segment of the population, which I believe is intended.

When it comes, if it comes down hard, I think it will come in a multitude of ways in different regions, all the different ways that LEOs, national guard, posse comitatus and foreign troops have been training and putting into practice, drug cartel and alphabet agency thugs and joy-stick drone pilots have already been putting into practice, as well as use of EMF to incapacitate. Expect anything.

  7. I watched the reporting on CNN while waiting for my wife having a procedure done in the hospital. That was the only report on CNN. Over and over again different reporters and anchor people yapping about it. Same cycle of pictures repeated. This went on for the 2 hours I waited. The only break in the constant repeat was the constant repeat of commercials. How much news was buried by these reports? There were hundreds of coproaches wandering around doing nothing. The big terror mobiles of the coproaches were on display to scare the sheeple. A lot of crimes on the people could have been solved with a fraction of the effort used to get vengeance on a coproach
