Gang of Russian thugs pick on the wrong guy

Surveillance cameras have captured the moment a group of Russian thugs picked on someone their own size and sensationally lost.

Nicolai Vlasenko, a professional boxer and martial arts expert, didn’t take too kindly to the gang harassing his wife to join them at their table at a bar in Starokorsunskaya in Russia’s south.

When the 29-year-old told the men to leave his wife alone, the apparent leader, Leonti Yevdokimov, 33, suggested that they continue the discussion outside.

CCTV cameras outside the bar show Vlasenko knocking out three of the thugs cold as the rest of the group backs away.

“There were at least ten of them, led by the two who thought they were real big shots,” witness Eldar Vinogradoff said.

“One of them took off his shirt and started squaring up to the boxer, and I don’t think he even knew what hit him when he went down like a bowling pin. A second man tried to kick the boxer and he was floored instantly as well.

“Then a third man joined in, and he was left staggering and on the point of collapsing after taking three blows to the head and not landing once himself.”

The gang are reportedly to blame for a rise in petty crime in the small Russian town.

They later filed a complaint with police over the run-in, but a police spokesman said no action would be taken against Vlasenko, who was clearly outnumbered and had acted in self-defence.

The lawyer for Vlasenko said that his client was not prepared to sit back and watch the men harass his wife.

“He was prepared to discuss it in a reasonable manner, but when they resorted to force than he was forced to defend himself with inevitable consequences.”

  1. As demonstrated here, the shortest distance between you as point one and point two is a straight line.It looked like all of his strikes were straight lined forward punches. Not round house winding up kind of punches. Good for him. thugs are cowards, and even if one were to lose, at least you put some of them down. Always confront the leader first and take him down if you can. He’s their alpha and once you take him down, the rest are likely to leave you alone. I frankly wish that everyone were trained in hand to hand combat. It evens the field and although it is much more personal than firing a powerful gun (which I’d prefer given the choice) (I don’t wan’t to break my fingernails. ha) When practiced to near perfection, does and will educate that one with more ability to defend, evade, and respond in real time in close space to the threat with the lethal force of a fire arm. Like shooting. Pin point accuracy in and up close can does and will take out the threat. And You don’t have to be big or bigger than your attacker. Everyone would be benefited by learning true EFFECTIVE fighting techniques.they aren’t friendly, they aren’t a competition type of sport thing, if you are in a fight for your life. Who are YOU. Are you a Lion or a Sheep? 10 to one! It just goes to demonstrate that thugs are cowards. Thanks for posting this. Doug
