Gun “control” looks to be a priority for some on the first day of the new Congress. On December 17, Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) announced she would introduce legislation for a new “assault weapons” ban on the day the 113th Congress first meets. And right before this weekend, Democrats in the House of Representatives announced they would be introducing legislation that very same day that would ban Americans from buying or transferring “high-capacity” ammunition magazines. Sam Stein reported on the Huffington Post website on Friday:
House Democrats will introduce legislation to ban the production of high-capacity magazines on the first day of the next congressional session, the office of Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Colo.), one of the lawmakers sponsoring the bill, told The Huffington Post.
The Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Device Act will mirror a failed bill introduced during the 112th Congress…
The bill Democrats will introduce would limit magazines, belts, drums, feed strips and “similar device[s]” to 10 rounds of ammunition. It would allow people to hold on to the “large capacity ammunition feeding device[s]” that they currently own, but prohibit them from buying others or transferring the ones they have.
Call me crazy, but something tells me the bad guys won’t be hindered by either of these proposed bans. In fact, in the event the criminals are ever short “hi-cap” mags, don’t be surprised to hear tales of them mastering super-fast magazine changes on the “low-capacity” ones they brought along in more numbers.

I’m sure the “I got mine” crowd will celebrate this. Figures….”I got mine so f^ck the rest of you”. With mentality like that, no wonder a collective effort to stop these Tyranical B@stards will only sputter & go out.
There’s no celebrations going on, nor is there any “go F” the rest attitude…
However, there is the natural sense of security in having thought of these inevitable events years prior.
Instead of being bitter about it, go get some while you’re still able.
It won’t be me who’s at risk by not having these items, it will be you & your family.
Rest assured, when a fellow Patriot needs resupply, I am in a position to resupply & glad to do it. I’m not bitter by any means. The attitude I described is the prevalent norm among a lot bunkerhead preppers & Patriots for Profit. As for me, my risk is waisting time explaining the obvious to you. i’v been thinking about this for a couple of years now,
because it’s so easy to get to computerised CNC machines, lathes etc these days,
what is needed to get round any type of ban is simply for people to strip and blueprint various guns & mags.
then upload the plans to the net.
it probably isnt that hard to duplicate a linear mag like on the P90 or a “BETA” double-drum type mag.
also, it can cross borders so people in the u.s. for example could get a plan for a 50/60cal MG from africa etc.
the only limitation is that you probably couldnt rifle a barrel.
the tools exist – but they arent cheap and will probably get restricted or banned.
I hope our traitorous representatives are getting their underground bunkers in order.
and i hope we can weld the doors shut from outside & cap the air shafts!
I gotta say it – that air shaft would make a great recepacle for the products of the out house LOL HAHAHA. Ya see – if their doors were welded shut and that air shaft was their only air supply – tee heee haw haw haw hahaha – them representatives of ours?, would have to keep shovleing the Sh!t from all of us to keep breathing – they would have to wade in sh*t eventualy till they die down there in our sewers.

Poetic justice is right TranceAm. They would have made their bed and now they have to sleep in it – yep, pun intended, hahaha. I guess that as long as they keep eating and shoveling sh*t that they can live, but they have to breath that sewer air that they spew and they would have to eat sh*t and sleep in it also – and it would all be a fecal present from us all along with a urine drink for a chasser to wash down all that fecal material that they seem to like to spread around. I think that would be a plan made in heaven for a govt worker at all levels.
Since the economy is on fire and employment is almost 100% there will be plenty of time to focus on taking those evil inanimate objects.
This gets the Orwellian Award for absurdity for 2013.
In Vietnam, in preparation for the next ‘fire fight’, soldiers would spend hours duct taping 20 round mags together end-on-end for rapid replacement (fire, release mag, flip, re-insert, ROCK ‘N ROLL!). These assholes going to outlaw duct tape??? Probably.
If you ducttape two of those together end-to-end, you can fetch a whole lot of dinner.
