(VERO BEACH, FL) A former Secret Service agent has confirmed the identity of Hillary Clinton’s mysterious ‘medical handler’ as US Secret Service Agent Todd Madison.
The retired Secret Service agent, who spent 20 years protecting America’s top leaders including the Clinton’s, confirmed by telephone Wednesday that the stocky African American man highlighted by various media outlets, was a man he worked with previously on assignment.
The former Secret Service agent, who requested to remain anonymous due to continuing government service, said that the Secret Service doesn’t have handlers, but agents are trained in emergency trauma care, and will at times bring in contractors to fill specific medical needs.
“Some agents are more true believers than others”, the former SS agent said, meaning that some agents get more involved than others in the political campaigns they are attached to. “This explains the uncommon behavior of him getting up and talking during the speech, he’s a boss, its how Todd handles his detail,” he added.
Secret Service spokeswoman Nicole Mainor told TRUNEWS by phone Wednesday that she was not authorized to confirm that USSS agent Todd Madison is the Detail Leader for Hillary Clinton for security reasons. But, Mainor did however confirm by email that the stocky African American man pictured next to the candidate in the pictures published by Jim Hoft at The Gateway Pundit is Clinton’s USSS Detail Leader.
“The Secret Service can confirm that the gentleman pictured is the Detail Leader for Presidential Candidate Clinton,” Mainor wrote in response to TRUNEWS.
Mainor previously told NY Times columnist Jim Rutenberg that the item being carried in the left hand of the man we now know to be Clinton’s Detail Leader was actually a small flashlight, and not “diazepam syringe”.
TRUNEWS correspondent Edward Szall asked the former Secret Service agent to comment on the picture described above, which the source confirmed was likely a SureFire black light (example here), noting that many agents carry handheld tactical lights as part of their standard equipment.
“It can get very dark behind stage at a political rally,” the source said. “The pressure switch is on back of those lights hence the way Todd is holding it, its also in his left hand, a non-gun hand,” he added.
The source also noted that the red lapel pin on the left side of Todd Madison’s blazer is not a “medical pin”, but rather recognition device used by Secret Service to identify security officials inside a details zone.
Addressing the question as to why USSS Detail Leader Todd Madison “disappeared” for a few weeks before reappearing on Clinton’s campaign airplane Monday, the source stated that it is standard protocol for US Secret Service agents to rotate in 21 day shift cycles. “He was likely on another assignment or taking R&R,” the source said.
What is still a mystery however is the bizarre ‘seizure-like’ head contortions Hillary Clinton was recorded performing in-front of reporters at a muffin shop in Washington D.C. on June 10th.
AP reporter Lisa Lerer, who is pictured holding out her audio recorder in front of Mrs. Clinton at the time of the incident, wrote that the Democratic nominee shook her head “vigorously for a few seconds”, but that “exaggerated motion” was voluntary and simply Clinton being “eager to avoid answering” the volume of questions being thrown at her.
STROKES NOT CONSPIRACY
According to Charles C. Johnson, Investigative Journalist and Founder of GotNews.com and WeSearchR.com, Hillary Clinton has a family history of strokes, which have the potential of causing long term neurological issues, such a difficulty swallowing.
Over the Labor Day weekend, Hillary Clinton experienced numerous coughing fits, and was spotted by journalists drinking what appeared to be thickened water. According to her doctor, Lisa Bardack, MD, Clinton currently suffers from hypothyroidism and seasonal pollen allergies.
Hypothyroidism is an under-active thyroid with symptoms which can include a slowed metabolism, fatigue, weight gain, and other issues, according to Thyroid-Info.com founder Mary Shomon.
In a medical letter written by Doctor Bardack on July 28, 2015 to demonstrate Mrs. Clinton’s current state of health, it was mentioned that her current medications include Armour Thyroid.
“Armour Thyroid is a brand name for natural desiccated thyroid (NDT), a prescription thyroid hormone replacement medication made from the dried thyroid gland of pigs,” Shomon wrote.
According to the 2014 Hypothyroidism Guidelines, published by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) and the American Thyroid Association (ATA), Armour Thyroid/NDT medication is not considered the “standard of care”.
Those guidelines state:
“There is no evidence to support using natural desiccated thyroid hormone — i.e., Armour, Nature-Throid — in preference to levothyroxine in treating hypothyroidism…therefore desiccated thyroid hormone should not be used for the treatment of hypothyroidism.”
Mary Shomon writes a renowned column on Thyroid Disease for VeryWell.com, and purports to have her articles on Thyroid health reviewed by board-certified physicians prior to publication.
As part of the 2015 State Department ”email dump” from the private server the Clinton’s were running out of their basement, the Washington Post reported that Hillary Clinton had requested one of Shomon’s articles about the effects of sleep on weight loss from VeryWell.com be printed by Lauren C. Jiloty, one of her State Department staffers.
This means Mrs. Clinton was likely experiencing adverse symptoms from hypothyroidism as far back as May 2010 , and may have herself begun questioning the prescription of Armour Thyroid/NDT from hypothyroidism as a sound treatment protocol.
According to Dr. Bardack’s letter, Clinton was first placed on a blood thinner called Lovenox in 1998 to treat blood-clotting problems in her legs on extended airplane flights. The anticoagulant was replaced with Coumadin – also called Warfarin – which she began taking after developing a blood clot in her head from a fall and a concussion she suffered in December 2012.
RAT POISON PRESCRIPTION
Warfarin is also commonly used as a rat poison, according to Louise Achey, Pharm.D, the author of “Taking Warfarin Safely”.
On January 31 2016, WND contributor Jerome R. Corsi, published an article including a warning from a California physician that Coumadin use could kill Mrs. Clinton.
Dr. David K. Cundiff, a registered Democrat, had his license to practice medicine revoked in California because he refused to administer Coumadin.
“My interest in cerebral venous thrombosis and in Hillary Clinton’s case is public health-based rather than political,” Cundiff explained to WND. “I think that her medical risks are much more from the side effects of the Coumadin than the recurrence of a venous thrombosis.”
Dr. Cundiff explains his concerns further on his website WhistleBlowerDoctor.org:
“Hillary Clinton has had three episodes of venous thrombosis (clots in veins): deep vein thrombosis (blood clots) in her leg in 1998 and 2009 and thrombosis in veins in her brain (cerebral venous thrombosis) in 2012. On July 31, 2015, Ms. Clinton’s doctor revealed that Ms. Clinton still takes the blood thinner (anticoagulant drug) Coumadin (warfarin).
If her doctors follow current clinical practice guidelines, Coumadin or other blood thinners will continue for the rest of her life. This puts her at high risk for major bleeding.

Taking into consideration Clinton’s medical history of suffering venous thrombosis, Cundiff calculates she has about five times the chance of a woman her age of developing another blood clot, amounting to a 20 percent chance over the next 10 years, WND summerized from the interview.
Corsi also wrote that Cundiff’s concerns about the practice of prescribing Coumadin (warfarin) or other blood thinners for blood-clot patients has received support from Dr. Magdy Selim, M.D., Ph.D., at the Stroke Division, Department of Neurology, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Selim is also affiliated with the Harvard University Catalyst, a network of scientists also known as the Harvard Clinical and Translational Science Center, funded in part by the National Institutes of Health.
In an editorial titled “Cerebral Venous Thrombosis: Another Heparin Controversy”, Selim discussed favorably Cundiff’s published research on the dangers of prescribing anticoagulants like Coumadin (warfarin) to blood-clot patients.
After noting that Cundiff’s published research suffers from certain limitations encountered by referencing unpublished medical research data, Selim observed:
“Despite these limitations, Cundiff raises valid concerns and questions of clinical and therapeutic importance that are yet to be fully answered. The use of anticoagulants in patients with CVT (blood-clots in the brain) poses a real risk: ICH (Intracerebral Hemorrhage, or bleeding within the brain).”
BRAIN HEMORRHAGES ARE STROKES
On Sept. 29, 2008, the Telegraph in London reported on research from the University of Cincinnati published in the American Academy of Neurology journal showing that Coumadin (warfarin) can increase the danger of excessive internal bleeding in the brain, causing a stroke. The research demonstrated that if Coumadin (warfarin) makes the blood too thin, it can increase the risk of brain hemorrhage.
The UC study isn’t alone in its adverse findings concerning Coumadin (warfarin), the FDA commented in a May 13 2014 drug and safety communication that “bleeding that may lead to serious or even fatal outcomes is a well-recognized complication of all anticoagulant therapies.” The Johns Hopkins Hospital Medical Center has even warned that those taking Coumadin (warfarin) should obtain a blood test every two to four weeks to make sure their blood is thinning to the correct degree, without bleeding complications. The widely respected Cleveland Clinic echoes that warning on their website, that Coumadin (warfarin) may cause excessive bleeding.
According to the American Stroke Association (ASA) intracerebral (within the brain) hemorrhages are one of the two types of hemorrhagic strokes, which we know based on the research from Charles Johnson from GotNews, Hillary Clinton is vunerable to due to her families history of life-threatening strokes.
