It’s too late , they have been doing this for years , most if not all nuke plants have been storing spent fuel on site for quite a while
The depository sites that we tax payers have and were funding never got used for their intended purpose , we funded deep underground bunkers for the elite with that money
I know of two nuke plants near me that are all on lake fronts for their cooling water , and both of them have very large containment structures to store spent fuel in
If this is their attempt to tell us they are thinking of doing this it’s way late , they been doing this for quite sometime
