Jackboot of the week: When Marvin Louis Guy met Police employees Charles Dinwiddie, Odis Denton Killeen Police Department, Texas

On the Charles Carroll Society (CCS) we have a regular segment we called theJackboot of the Week. It is where we try, in our small way give tribute to the victims of the Police State.  I have changed the focus of the Jackboot for a few weeks, because documenting Police State excesses gets depressing.   Marvin Louis Guy age 50 sounds like a drug user. He had a “glass pipe” in his house (according to police). Now, he had no drugs in his home or car, but he or the “49 year old woman” living in his home had a glass pipe, a laptop and a radio, but no drugs.  What he did have was weapons and the will to use them in defense of his home.  Apparently he has paid attention, and he likes the shotgun.  Pistols suck.

For some reason Police Detective Charles “Chuck” Diwiddie, 47 and Officer Odis Denton, 37 decided to use an immoral, unconstitutional no knock warrant raid against this Mr.  Guy. A no knock warrant was drafted by the Bell County Organized Crime Unit and signed by Judge Mark Kimball, who authorized the “no-knock” entry. The government employees with guns claim that they “announced” themselves. The citizen says he did not hear them. The raid happened at 5:30 in the morning and, from what we can tell on the official report, no notification was given prior to police trying to enter the residence. What Mr. Guy said he understood was that some unknown group of people were forcing their way through his window. You know what Marvin Louis Guy did?

He shot Police Detective Charles “Chuck” Dinwiddie in the face. Killing him.

“Authorities went to a four-plex apartment on the 1100 block of Circle M Dr. to serve a search warrant. When Dinwiddie and another officer tried to enter the apartment, 50 year-old Marvin Louis Guy and a 49 year-old woman opened fire on authorities, hitting Dinwiddie in the face and Officer Odis Denton in the leg.”

He and the “49 year old woman with him” laid down an effective cycle of fire that killed one, and wounded two other government officers attacking their home, but their armor and bullet resistance vest saved their lives.  WhatMountain G teaches us is hips and heads people.  I shorten that into Ebonics as “domes and *icks.”  I am of course completely oppose to anyone defending themselves … If anyone enters your home and yells “Police” you should immediately surrender your family and yourself to that person.  The law is whatever our “servants” say the law is, and you are to obey it without question.  Mr. Guy didn’t get my memo.

The police have not explained why they felt they needed to assault this citizen’s home in the dead of night like murders. What made this man so dangerous that this immoral unconstitutional assault was required? We know of no history of violence from Mr. Guy. He was obviously not some “big time” drug lord. Why couldn’t they simply wait until he left home, and or more properly announced themselves? What we know is that there were no drugs found in this man’s home. He or the woman with him may have been drug users, but why would he fire at officers if he knew they were officers and there was nothing illegal in his home? It sounds a lot like he did not know who was attacking his home.

Mr. Guy is sitting in jail on 3 million dollars bail. He has been charged with three accounts of attempted capital murder. Hopefully the Grand Jury does justice in this case and puts themselves in Mr. Guy’s perspective. This is what Julie Renken, 21st Judicial District Attorney office said when Henry Magee was acquitted of Capital Murder when defending his home from attacking officers.  We covered that in the post Jackboot of the week: When Henry Magee met Burleson County, Texas Sheriff’s Deputy Adam Sowders “I believe the evidence also shows that an announcement was made. However, there is not enough evidence that Mr. Magee knew that day that Peace Officers were entering his home. The events occurred in a matter of seconds amongst chaos. The self-defense laws in Texas are viewed in the mindset of the actor, not the victim, which allows for tragedies to occur when one party is acting lawfully, but it can be reasonably seen as a threat of deadly force by another…This event should wake the community up that drug crimes are not victimless.”

People destroying themselves with drugs, or alcohol (or overeating on food, and many other addictions for that matter) has a negative effect on society and those around them, thus yes there are victims to drug (or any) addiction. However the question must be asked. Is the level of violence the State is using in their War on American Drug Users more than simply legalizing naturally occurring drugs? Julie Renken makes a valid point, if people were not involved in drugs the police may not have been there, we have documented numerous of cases of No Knock Warrants being issued against the wrong address.  I wonder what Julie Renken would say about the toddler, known to his family as a Bou Bou who had his chest blown open by government employees with guns in a no knock raid?  We covered that in our post Jackboot of the Week: When Habersham County, Georgia Special Response Team met 19-month-old “Bou Bou” . What Julie Renken fails to accept is that this event, and many, many more would not have happened if the police would not have used a No Knock Warrant.

If people truly value the lives of American citizens and police officers, they will stop carelessly throwing their lives away by sending them to attack citizens’ homes in the dead of night, unannounced like some form of fascist gestapo. There is no reason Officer Dinwiddie had to die, and there is no reason Marvin Guy should be sitting in jail on a 3 million dollar bond charged with three counts of attempted Capital Murder for defending his home,  because there was no reason for police to attack his home unannounced over a suspected small amount of illegal drugs.  Again no drugs were found.

As we say, we do not celebrate the loss of any life like certain demon worshipers, government employees with guns or citizens. However we stand firmly with American citizens, actually all people and their right to protect their live, liberty and property. We have the right to live. We have the right to be “secure” in our homes. The no knock warrant is an immoral, unconstitutional abomination created by a post-Christian post Constitutional Republic regime. The No Knock Warrant is turning our homes into the “ok coral”  free fire zones whatever the government feels it is appropriate. It is state sanctioned murder.

The number of no-knock raids has escalated to more than 40,000 a year according to Bradley Balko, author of Overkill: The Rise of Paramilitary Police Raids in America.  May the Lord have mercy on Marvin Guy and may justice be rendered by the Grand Jury reviewing his case.  Blow-back looks different but its root is the same.

  1. If this kind of thing were to happen all the time and these thugs pigs were to be eliminated at the threshold or the window sill they would think twice before doint this UNCONSTITUTIONAL ACT because some other criminal told them it was alright to do. Finally some good news!

  2. Clearly the Killeen P.D. should request an MRAP from the D.O.D. so that they can drive through the walls of unsuspecting citizens homes. This would provide better protection for the brave gestapo goons before they invade your home and point their automatic weapons at your children.

  3. I notice that necks are always exposed. Aim true. Only in self defense tho.
Drug cartels have body armor also. Probably provided by you know who.

  4. Groin Shots …..
Massive bleed out and they cannot advance upon you with
    a blown out hip joint.
The neck would be even harder to hit than the head shot.

  5. I hear ya paraclete, its good to show all options. On another note, its not very powerful, but it is still effective somewhat I suppose. They have buckshot for 9mm. I have rodents, and they are quick so the buckshot works. It destroys their body quite effectively. And Paraclete, I do see body armor for the groin, and you wont know if they are wearing it or not…I still say, practice and go for the neck. I enjoy sharing opinions and different strategies here for protection from those who want to harm us. And another thing: I was wondering if a swat team came into my house. If they yell “police” how would I know if they were telling the truth? I think that if a swat team comes into a home, they deserve what they get. I am against shooting police, but if you dont know they are police by them issuing a warrant and showing their identification, they are nothing more than intruders.

  6. WE THE PEOPLE need to help Marvin.
He is a well spoken, educated and innocent man.
Sign the on-line petition that his charges be dismissed. I have.
Write to the D.A. in Killeen, Texas and request he be released. I have.
    Write to Marvin. I have.
DO SOMETHING TO HELP MARIN L. GUY !!!! I am.
