Liberty can be a bit dangerous, but how much more dangerous without it?

The communists’ argument for infringements on our 2nd Amendment is being turned upside down, ironically by the communists themselves.  Out of one side of their mouth, they are insisting that the federal law is supreme and must be enforced by state and local officials.  If not, then the federal government will enforce the federal law as it did in the south for the equal rights of black Americans, as guaranteed under our Bill of Rights.

However out of the other side of their mouth, they are saying that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and that state’s legislature can enact and enforce state laws that violate the 2nd Article of our Bill of Rights and the federal government will refuse to intervene and send federal troops to enforce this federal constitutional law.

Five county sheriffs in the State of Oregon have come forth and declared that they will not enforce any federal law that infringes upon our 2nd Amendment.  I view this as a good thing and in the real world it would be except to the extent that this stance represents closing the barn door after some of the cattle have already gotten out.

Our 2nd Amendment, hence our constitutional law, is absolute in that our rights are inalienable and the statement in the law that they cannot be infringed is absolute.  It does not say they can be infringed a little but rather absolutely not at all.  The 1934 gun control act is an infringement of our 2nd Amendment by definition of our law.

Tench Coxe, a member of our Continental Congress, made the intent of our 2nd Amendment clear as to what the definition of “arms” is in the Freeman’s Journal, February 20, 1778, asserting the following.  “Who are the militia?  Are they not ourselves?  Congress have no power to disarm the militia.  Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American…the ultimate power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God, it will ever remain in the hands of the people.”

These sheriffs already enforce infringements.  The 1968 gun control act created inferior law that directly infringes upon the 2nd Amendment right as it is specifically designed to disarm an entire class of our population, those convicted of a felony and who have paid their debt to society.

Samuel Adams, organizer of the Sons of Liberty, participant in the Boston Tea Party, member of the Continental Congress, and Governor of Massachusetts, said of the notion of any such congressional legislation.  “And that the said Constitution never be construed to authorize Congress to infringe upon or to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms,” said arms as described by Tench Coxe as “swords and every other terrible implement of the soldier” and this did include hand grenades, mortars, and cannons, all of which could be lawfully possessed under our 2nd Amendment prior to the 1934 infringement.

The people’s arms are meant to be as powerful as or more powerful than those possessed by any soldier commanded by the government.  These draconian infringements have been enacted for no other purpose than to give the insurgents that have taken over our government a monopoly on superior arms.

All of our rights have been suspended via a multitude of infringements too numerous to fully account in this article.

To the Sheriffs of Oregon I would say, “If you really believe the words you are saying, stop enforcing all infringements of every American’s rights as described in our Bill of Rights.”  There is no such thing as a little infringement.  You either do or you do not.  It is like you cannot be a little bit pregnant.  Liberty can be a bit dangerous, but how much more dangerous without it?

Now in addressing the contention that these new infringements can be justified via the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting, I relinquish the floor to Mr. Thomas Jefferson, who wrote the following in a letter to Madison on July 31, 1788.  “The few cases wherein these (proposed Bill of Rights) may do evil, cannot be weighed against the multitude where the want of them will do evil.”

God bless the Republic, death to the international corporate mafia, we shall prevail.

  1. Henry, Well said! The horse is indeed out of the barn, so I suppose the only answer is buy a new horse and this time we must keep the barn door closed.

Since you gave me that bit of an adult tongue lashing regarding “shall not be infringed” I have realized how deeply government brain washing prevails in our society. The propaganda over the many decades put the second amendment out of focus obscuring the true intent of this crucial amendment. Many pro gun people believed that the government had the right to regulate firearms, but that is rapidly swinging toward the truth that there are no Constitutional restrictions of weapons. I want a cannon!

Second Amendment defenders, like yourself, are bringing the 2A back into focus and the revelation that no law can be passed at any government level infringing on the people’s right to keep and bear ANY arms is absolutely unalienable has blasted a gaping hole right through decades of federal, state and local “Laws Of Lies.”

Thank you for NOT giving up one inch of ground on our gun rights. I recall the Clinton’s attempt to take away our gun rights and the “….shall not be infringed…” part of the second amendment was rarely addressed by the likes of the NRA. The NRA still doesn’t get it! The NRA leadership has styra-foam for balls.

You have made the “Infringed” part so clear in this gun battle. Thank you for your steadfast stance and your 101 Second Amendment Class!

“Liberty may be a bit dangerous, but how much more dangerous without it.”

This statement sums up American’s gun rights lock, stock and barrel….

    Good day

    1. A fellow with a .50 cal that knows how to shoot it is already far beyond the average.
Make no mistake, our enemies fear your gun and I am glad you have it.

      1. We have trained 107 men and 2 women to proficiently shoot the .50 Cal…the best of those sharp shooters is one of the 2 women. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was related to Annie Oakley.

  2. Excellent, Henry… Let’s bring it to them, and push it all the way back to the original intent of our rights. Let’s take back all they have taken from us. Finally, we have enough people awake and motivated to get the job done. Let’s make hurt for them every time they even think about it.

  3. I am still waiting to hear one of these sheriffs say they will meet any fed or state guy with FORCE should they attempt to enforce any unconstitutional legislation.

  4. “The people’s arms are meant to be as powerful as or more powerful than those possessed by any soldier commanded by the government. These draconian infringements have been enacted for no other purpose than to give the insurgents that have taken over our government a monopoly on superior arms.”

Once the SHTF, that monopoly will be very short-lived. Their forces are NOT bulletproof, regardless of how much body armor they’re sporting.

Looking forward to collecting some of those “superior arms” on the battlefield.

    Another excellent article, Henry.

  5. Barry Soetoro enjoys all the protections of the 2nd Amendment every time he wipes his ass. His wife and children also enjoy our 2nd amendment, as without it, this kenyan family would probably be walking spaghetti strainers by now.

Soetoro is a two faced Kenyan communist who will never infringe on our 2nd amendment rights. He might try and flap his gums together, but he will just be farting against a hurricane force wind.

  6. As the 2nd is guardian for the other 9, let the eventual victory against its infringement catalyze a claw-back on all other atrocities committed against the Bill of Rights. Endeavor to restore the Constitutional Republic.
