PHOENIX (KPHO/KTVK) – Phoenix police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation say they are aware of a man’s plans for a Muhammad cartoon drawing contest scheduled for Friday in front of a Phoenix mosque.

“I let them know we’re coming to their doorstep and we’re going to be there utilizing our First Amendment; we’ll be ready to protect it with our Second Amendment,” contest organizer Jon Ritzheimer said.

The cartoon drawing contest is similar to one in Garland, TX, at which two men from Phoenix tried to ambush participants, shooting a security guard before they were shot and killed by police.

“I’m just a blatant, blunt, outspoken Marine,” Ritzheimer said.

Ritzheimer says the Garland shooting struck a nerve.

“I appreciate the (Phoenix Islamic Center) did come out and they condemned the two gunman,” Ritzheimer said. “They’ve come out and they’ve condemned ISIS.”

But it’s still not enough from the Phoenix Islamic Community Center of Phoenix, where the two gunmen worshipped, he said.

“People call them an extremist; to me it’s just a Muslim following their book as it’s written,” Ritzheimer said.

Ritzheimer has organized the rally in front of the Phoenix mosque at the same time as its worship service. He set up a Facebook event page to spread the word.

“These are the measures that we have to take to expose the true colors of this religion,” he said. “Unfortunately, we have to hold the cartoon contest, as silly as it sounds, to be able to show the true colors of Islam.”

Ritzheimer labeled Islam an “intolerant religion.”

“Here in America we have the freedom of speech and it’s under attack from Islam,” he said.

Ritzheimer expresses his feeling with a T-shirt that reads “$*#! Islam.”

“There’s going to be plenty of them,” he said. “I have a whole fresh order coming to the rally.”

Ritzheimer maintains the rally in front of the mosque is not meant to stir up trouble.

“I let them know that we’re coming on that day and that I hope everything can remain peaceful,” he said.

Usama Shami, president of the Phoenix Islamic Center, declined an on-camera interview, but said he is aware of the group’s planned protest.

He said that as long as the protesters stay off the property, they can rally all they want.

Neither law enforcement agency would disclose what type of police presence there might be.

  1. Sure they got the right to do this….but why would they want to? Oh, that’s right, to spread some hatred around.
It’s amazing how the communists have their First Amendment rights to vilify Muslims but don’t anybody else try having any rights to do anything cause you ain’t got no rights. You’d think a marine would know better. Ritzheimer….either a zionist jew or a useful idiot.
Pam Gellar and Ann Barnhardt will be proud.

    1. You are right tc.

What happens if you use your free speech against the jews in europe and deny their HolyHoax? Oh, you go to prison!!!

Do these jews cry for everyone to have the right of free speech against them? Nope, they made sure it became a crime to speak against them! And they are trying to make it a crime to speak out against them here as well!

But, you better believe they will scream for their right to say anything against you or anyone else.

  2. I say what I want to say, F*#k the Islams, Jews, Catholics, Christians, Niggers, White Crackers, Mormons, Muslims, Rednecks, Slant Eyes, Gooks, Wetbacks, Beaners, Camel Jockies, Towel Heads and any other label you would care to put on a human. That is my right and although it’s not my belief to treat or label other humans in a negative way, if I choose to do so I have that right.

It’s a right not a need. Does it make it right to degrade and label someone differently from your own beliefs, hell NO!!!

Global societies and cultures have been brainwashed to believe that their beliefs and rights trump all others. It’s a global Hegelian dialect, divide and conquer strategy that’s being played out on the world stage today.

I actually love all my fellow humans as we ride this big rock around the sun. Just treat people the way you want to be treated. Humans as a species are kind, sharing, compassionate and caring. It’s the idea that “My god & way of life is better than yours”, that’s tearing this world apart.

  3. The man’s an idiot, and if someone took a minute to ask him why he hates Islam, he wouldn’t be able to say anything that wasn’t drummed into his head by the television.

His defiance and courage are good qualities. It’s a shame that he’s too stupid to put them to good use.

  4. This fuc… is a total gad damn joo. He looks like fkn mossad agent. I bet he has more rights in this country than we do. That’s the really sad part. We’ve been over run by these mofos and not a single shot was fired. These muzzies just can’t catch a break. Fuc. them joos

  5. Truth be told, I suspect there’s players involved with this that would shock many Americans. Money “under the table” for dirty deeds done not so cheap, but still gets that HATE message out there!

  6. Who is this “Marine” and where is he from? Has he been an AZ resident or like Geller a New Yorker that suddenly decided the issue of free speech in TX needed to be addressed?

  7. Another false flag in the making. Muslims in body armor will burst out of a car with AK47’s and spray bullets all over, KILL NO ONE, and a rent-a-cop will kill them and be the “hero” of free speech.
