  1. It might be time to start monitoring the radiation locally, and I’m not sure i want to eat anymore veggies that were grown in California.

Anyone hear anything about commercially sold veggies being radioactive? A lot of veggies in my local supermarket are from California, and I’m wondering if it might be wise to start eating the canned veggies I have stockpiled instead.

    1. From what I’ve read, JR, the radiation is more or less distributed plentifully across the entire country, with some areas back East getting even more than we are, due to the jet stream and other factors.

      Alpha lipoic acid.

  2. Current reading, 26 Nov. 2015, north coastal San Diego:

Before Fukushima, background readings (with governmet-issue/grade detectors) averaged 35 ‘CPM’.

Steady increase since Fuku’, with averages in the 80 CPM, the last 6 months.

    Today’s reading, 108.

Alert Level is 110. Evacuation, 300 CPM

As ‘NWO’ says, many areas of the US are getting hit FAR harder, due to Jet Stream, but there are ‘spikes’, due to the stream angle and velocity:

    Billings, Montana, 769 CPM
    Idaho Falls, Idaho, 488 CPM
Rapid City, South Dakota, 463 CPM
    Grand Junction, Colorado, 465 CPM
    Colorado Springs, Colorado, 536 CPM
San Diego, California, 417 CPM and
    Raleigh, North Carolina, 474 CPM
