Huffington Post Millie Ramirez believes in helping out those who are less fortunate. So much so, that for the past seven years, she’s set up and run a food bank in front of her Glendale, Ariz., home.
And that makes the City of Glendale upset. In the last two months, Ramirez has received three notices from the city telling her to stop feeding the hungry. If she fails to shut down the food bank, say officials, she faces fines and possible arrest.
A city spokesperson told ABC15 thatGlendale ordinances prohibit leaving furniture or appliances in public view.
Since the do-gooder’s front yard food bank includes shelving and a mobile ice-cream freezer, officials say she’s technically afoul of the law, even though she sets up and takes down the equipment every day.
“I’ve been there. I’ve been down to where I have nothing and there wasn’t anyone around to help,” Ramirez told azfamily.com. “And if I can help why shouldn’t I? Why shouldn’t anybody help?”
She estimates the donated food she collects and distributes feeds to about 50 people a day.
Having received her third and final notice, The Rutherford Institute, a national civil liberties organization that provides free legal services, has offered its assistance.
The institute has requested the city provide a formal, written apology to Ramirez, along with assurances she can continue with her charity. It is also seeking renewed training for law enforcement officials regarding Glendale City Code.
“Were the provision properly interpreted as City officials have applied it to Ms. Ramirez,” the Institute said in a released statement, “then it could also be used to outlaw tables used for occasional lemonade stands and yard sales, as well as items regularly used outdoors in residential neighborhoods—garden hoses, lawn tools, watering cans, signage, picnic blankets and baskets, children’s toys, bicycles, etc.”

“A neighbor complained”? What kind of neighbor would complain about giving away food to someone in need? What kind of sick world are we living in? Unless it was a government paid informant that was pretending to be a neighbor. Sick world.
Hey son !
“Somebody complained” is the standard excuse and usually a lie.
If Millie is allowed to continue she will demonstrate two things for all
to see; 1) The government has failed miserably to provide a safe
and decent environment for people to live in and 2) It is useless
and incompetent and lacking any legitimacy. That is a threat to
the ruling elites and that is why people like Millie must be
neutralized.
That is one big F`N outrage. I hope that who ever complained gets the chance to live in the sewer before they die – and hopfully they will die their asking for help. Those G. Damned city officials can rot in hell also with the one who complained.
I hope the citizens in the City of Glendale remember what God does to people who abuse the protectors of the sick and hungry.
One day the neighbor that “complained” will know what it is like to starve. Believe it. Karma always wins.
“I’ve been there. I’ve been down to where I have nothing and there wasn’t anyone around to help,” Ramirez told azfamily.com. “And if I can help why shouldn’t I? Why shouldn’t anybody help?”
Because that would defeat the purpose of the NWO’s agenda for starving the ‘useless eaters’ to death.
What’s in store for those Satanic scum is FAR worse.
Or it could be this #1 , much like John D. Rockerfeller , the gov’t does Not like competition . If they get their food from something / or someone other than gov’t , that’s one less person dependent / ( slave ) on gov’t .
I tried to give Millie support on local news website comment section but they would not allow any more comments! There are much more important things for the City of Glendale to be concerned with and dehumanizing the city and creating a sterile everything the same environment – that is not what I look for in a place to live. Who wants that? A cyborg? A drone? I love that Millie does this. Leave her alone Glendale. Anybody that steps up and does a loving humane thing is a treasure and brings a light of hope and love.
Judicial processes are just as much the right of the individual as of a fictional entity (ie. business/government/council etc). We shouldn’t be afraid to make the perceived powers justify their actions before a judge when they are clearly over-stepping the mark. She could also move the things which are creating a problem and still do her good work without the hassle whilst she finds another way to combat the state sponsored lawlessness and unlawful behaviour. By that, i’m just saying that sometimes it is better to come in and/or operate under the radar to ensure one’s own safety and the ideal for which you stand.
City of Glendale cited me for a tire laying in my driveway last year-WHILE I WAS CHANGING THE TIRE!!!
