This is an update to an earlier story.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – KOBI reports the missing home has been found and three people are claiming ownership.

No charges have been filed.

It’s unclear where the home was found.

Here is the original story.

Klamath County sheriff’s deputies have a bizarre mystery on their hands.

A house was stolen.

KOBI-TV reports the 1,200-square-foot home from the Sprague River area was reported missing on Tuesday, Feb. 24.

“We had a complete home stolen. This isn’t a motor home, this isn’t a mobile home and this is a ‘home,'” Sheriff Frank Skrah told KOBI.

Skrah said the home was not on wheels. It was on a foundation.

The homeowner has been notified of the theft.

Anyone who spots the missing house is asked to call the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office.

  1. ” It was on a foundation.”

If that’s the house in the picture, it most definitely was NOT on a foundation. It was on posts, and that’s why it was so easy to drive away with the thing.

Just slide a low-boy under it, lift it with new posts on the trailer, cut the old posts, and drive away with it. Not too much more difficult than stealing a little girl’s doll house.

    1. you sound well versed in “stealing a little girls doll house”. lol
Did you have evil sisters? Or just really liked the thrill of making off with doll houses?

Kidding aside… Will the thieves still get breaking and entering charges???
