In fact, on more than one occasion in his political career he has claimed to be a US Senator, not an Israeli Senator.
If that’s not antisemitism, what is?
If Obama actually goes through with this nomination he is obviously trying to make a point; he won’t be cowed by the Israel lobby.

Now, I do not like Zionism (or Satanism for that matter), but to conflate the two is ridiculous. I hardly think that the “Zionist” rabbis go around proclaiming “Satan is on our side, Satan gave this land to us 5000 years ago”.

Thank you for you reasoned response. There is a difference between Occultism and Satanism.
I have (and have read) the book Synagogue of Satan, at no stage does he claim that the Jewish faith is Satan, it is just a simpler more emphatic title than “The synagogue of evil horrible people who do really nasty things and want to rule the entire world”. I have never believed the Holohoax (not since 1955 at least), I also have the english version of the Talmud, (and the Koran, Book of Mormon, and Science and Health with a Key to the Scriptures, Etc). I have met a few “Talmudic scholars” but most jewish people would not be able to quote any Talmudic verse or opinions.
The problem I have is that anyone who does not subscribe to the “Charismatic, Southern Baptist” viewpoint is deemed a “Satanist”. There is a difference between Satanists, Occultists and Luciferians.
People are entitled to their view that “Jesus” is the be-all and end-all of existence, but I (and the vast majority of humanity) do not subscribe to that point of view. I find that version two-dimensional, Jesus -Satan, With-us or Against-us, Good – Evil, Jews – everyone else.
Not all Masons are pawns of the Jews, Not all Jews are Talmudic, not all Jews are Illuminati, (not all Illuminati are Jewish) the world is much more nuanced.
The trouble with the Two-dimensional world is the Black Swan fallacy. Thus whenever someone recognises an error or a falsity, e.g. “Zionism and Judaism are one and the same.” then they throw out the baby with the bathwater and reject all your information.
I personally know (a very pleasant and moral) Orthodox Jew who has practised and preached Judaism all his life, and he abhors Zionism and Zionists.
I have spent 50+ years studying, but I approach information and knowledge with an open mind, and not with Calvinist-Christian blinkers.
I will go along with “investigate”, but have problems with “educate” primarily because of these synonyms : brainwashing, catechism, direction, discipline, drilling, inculcation, indoctrination, pedagogy, preparation, propagandism, proselytism.

I admire the eloquence with which you present your case. I, too have studied the religious texts you cite, and agree with most of what you state.
However, evil does exist, by whatever name, and the horror perpetrated by it must be recognized. There are groups other than zionists; the claimed merovingian decendents, the brahmans, the papacy, etc. that brainwash and cornhole followers, but the zionist crime consortium is the most pervasive and immediate threat. Satan aside, they’re enemies to many of us. IMHO, that’s the flap we’re involved in.

Where does it mention Israel during the swearing in of a senator for the US? Hagel is more of what the god damn house and senate need! The boot lickers who hold most of the offices in both places have caused more damage to US foreign policy than can be fathomed! Israel’s arrogant and violent actions are indefensible and the fact that they have drawn American blood more than once to deceive this nation into war for their benefit is intolerable. Any senator or house rep that crawls around licking the boots of the Israeli lobby needs to be voted out and replaced with someone who will put the US first, second and third!
