Summary
Participate and assist in role-playing exercises on a part-time/on-call/as needed basis to simulate realistic conditions, and scenarios that may be encountered, while deployed, by Army Civil Affairs and Military Information Support Operations during contingent operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate realistic training in preparation for real-world events and scenarios the students will likely encounter during deployment.
2. Civilian Role Players will simulate a variety of cultural divergences including, but not limited to, language, community, individual, political, and spiritual practices
3. Specific Role Players will be asked to participate as (OPFOR), or the Opposing Force. This will include the ability to tactically maneuver between people and villages, engage the enemy with sound variables including voice, and small simulated small arms fire, be flexible in movement, and take on spot direction from onsite (LNO) and APMs.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a min. of 18yrs. old, and be able to run, jump, walk, yell, lay on the ground, regardless of weather conditions, and be self sustaining for a period of 10 hours each day, outside in the elements.

the English language WITHOUT interpretation. ***

Preferred Education and Experience
1. Retired, Inactive, or Reserve Military.
2. One year experience as a Role Player
3. Reside inside a 50 mile radius of Fort Hunter Liggett.

Security Clearance
No specific Security Clearance is required. All applicants are subject to Local, State, National, and Federal Background Checks. A prior felony conviction, or active, open warrant may have impact on your acceptance.
