Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is suffering from a concussion after fainting. Below is a statement from her Philippe Reines, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State.
“While suffering from a stomach virus, Secretary Clinton became dehydrated and fainted, sustaining a concussion. She has been recovering at home and will continue to be monitored regularly by her doctors. At their recommendation, she will continue to work from home next week, staying in regular contact with Department and other officials. She is looking forward to being back in the office soon.”

I was at NPR reading this story and I was about to login to comment and this appeared at the npr/disqus login page:

Sounds like they are claiming you are guilty of something by asking you to comment on your behalf. WTF??
A fatal stroke or coronary would have been FAR more welcome news, IMHO.
Sorry I wasn’t there to help her. My first-aid instructor taught me that when someone faints you’re supposed to hold a pillow over their face until they stop kicking.
LOL
Thanks a lot, JR.
Now everyone in Starbucks is staring at me, wondering if they should bolt for the exit or not.
I think she’s either playing hookie to avoid the Congressional testimony on Benghazi, or since she is leaving the BHO Admin. anyway, I think her boss told her … “Hey, why don’t you take some extra time off (wink wink)”.
Also … dehydrated and a concussion but no hospitalization? When my ex-husband got the flu and became dehydrated, he had to visit the ER for a little while to have an IV for dehydration. Because, the way I understand it, is when you get that dehydrated, you just can’t drink water and have your body assimilate it fast enough to get your body rehydrated.
Wierd people in our Government.
