Senior U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia found dead at West Texas ranch

Associate Justice Antonin Scalia was found dead of apparent natural causes Saturday on a luxury resort in West Texas, federal officials said.

Scalia, 79, was a guest at the Cibolo Creek Ranch, a resort in the Big Bend region south of Marfa.

When he did not appear for breakfast, a person associated with the ranch went to his room and found a body.

Chief U.S. District Judge Orlando Garcia, of the Western Judicial District of Texas, was notified about the death from the U.S. Marshals Service.

U.S. District Judge Fred Biery said he was among those notified about Scalia’s death.

“I was told it was this morning,” Biery said of Scalia’s death. “It happened on a ranch out near Marfa. As far as the details, I think it’s pretty vague right now as to how,” he said. “My reaction is it’s very unfortunate. It’s unfortunate with any death, and politically in the presidential cycle we’re in, my educated guess is nothing will happen before the next president is elected.”

The U.S. Marshal Service, the Presidio County sheriff and the FBI were involved in the investigation.

Officials with the law enforcement agencies declined to comment.

A federal official who asked not to be named said there was no evidence of foul play and it appeared that Scalia died of natural causes.

A gray Cadillac hearse pulled into the ranch last Saturday afternoon. The hearse came from Alpine Memorial Funeral Home.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott released a statement Saturday afternoon, calling Scalia a man of God, a patriot and an “unwavering defender of the written Constitution.”

“He was the solid rock who turned away so many attempts to depart from and distort the Constitution,” Abbott said. “We mourn his passing, and we pray that his successor on the Supreme Court will take his place as a champion for the written Constitution and the Rule of Law. Cecilia and I extend our deepest condolences to his family, and we will keep them in our thoughts and prayers.”

Scalia was nominated to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1986 by President Ronald Reagan.

Staff writers Vianna Davila, Tyler White and Richard A. Marini, John MacCormack and Guillermo Contreras contributed to this report.

  1. Thanks by!
Take care now.. by by then.
What type of pos is going to fill the Scalia judge hole.
Hey maybe bttfk Barry can appoint….
    Pelosi
    Reid
    Hillary
    Feinstein
Or some other lurking commie bassturd.
    Weekend at Bernies…or should I say Scalia’s.
    Gotta give it to him.
    Still partying at 79.
I guess dying from a heart attack from an underage hooker is
    considered “Natural Causes”.

    1. More likely the Hildabeast will appoint Barry Soetoro to fill the void…

Oops…. Did I use the phrase “fill the void” in the same sentence as Barry Soetoro? Really nasty image there.

    2. You know, when your 79 you gotta pace yourself. too much coke and hookers all at once can kill an old feller.

      It goes:
      lil bit o coke
      lil bit o hookers
      lil bit more coke
      lil bit more hookers
You can’t snort half o key and then shove your face into big bountiful boobies like he used to do when he was younger. Your talking Viagra overdose.
hopefully the coke will offset the Viagra and they will be able to close the coffin lid at his funeral.

  2. “A federal official who asked not to be named said there was no evidence of foul play and it appeared that Scalia died of natural causes.”

    Key word here being… “APPEARED”.

Even if ‘foul play’ WERE discovered, we’d never hear about it. Doesn’t sound as if anything was wrong with him when he left the party. Hmmmm…

Regardless, another POS communist ‘judge’ pushing up daisies is not much to celebrate.

He’ll doubtless be replaced with one even worse.

  3. Someone needs to douse his remains with a flammable liquid and burn him to a crispy critter. He would do the same for you!

      1. John B. Poindexter (owner of Cibolo Creek Ranch) is not John Marlan Poindexter (retired United States naval officer, Department of Defense official, Deputy National Security Advisor and National Security Advisor for the Reagan administration).

  4. Never liked Scalia, but his replacement will be far worse for sure. Be ready to defend your right to bear arms, folks! The psychos will find a way to make sure the Supremes do whatever they can to steal our guns.

Weird he died near Marfa, though…on a hunting trip? In my neck of the woods?

  5. I bet Frankenfeinstein is wetting herself to tip the vote in favor of gun confiscation….

Another communist, khazarian, multisexual ‘jew’ will probably be chosen…or at least someone that’ll advance the destruction of america.
If another ‘jew’ is nominated, the supreme court will be nearly 50% ‘jewish’. Then, they will attempt to do whatever they want.

It’s yet another distraction from economic collapse and WW3.

  6. WTF? Scalia was such a good guy huh? Let’s build a monument. How about the biggest pr#@k on planet? 1000 ft. high.

Everyone says “conservative” he was. Now, Obama can install a “flaming fag” and allow the space, time, gay, continuum to move forward.

We would have been stalled in our quest to be extinct, pushing further the fudge-packing agenda, thank the lord for our multi-sexual president who understands what it feels like and can’t wait to “rectify” the situation.

  7. One report stated that Scalia was found in perfect repose.
    There will be no autopsy.
The body is apparently in the process of being embalmed.
    This points to murder
I guess the powers that be will not hesitate to kill one of their own to further the agenda.

I read another story that Scalia has no problem with the execution of an innocent man. Executing an innocent man after a (fair trial) does not go against the Constitution.
