The sister of the suspect in the shooting ambush that killed one Pennsylvania state police trooper and wounded another says she wants “this to be all over” and her brother should  “suffer the consequences” if he was indeed the shooter.

“At the same time, I don’t want my brother to sit and rot in jail,” Tiffany Frein, 18,told the Scranton Times-Tribune.

Eric Frein, 31, is charged with opening fire at the Blooming Grove police barracks during a shift change on the night of Sept. 12, killing Cpl. Bryon Dickson and seriously injuring Trooper Alex Douglass. Frein has managed to elude hundreds of law enforcement officials looking for him in the difficult terrain. He has been placed on the FBI’s Most Wanted list.

Tiffany Frein describes her brother as being someone who mostly kept to himself, but was there for her when she needed him.

“We are a typical brother and sister. We fought and had our moments, but we bonded,” she said.

But Tiffany Frein said Eric was “really into guns.” His father told police that he taught Eric how to shoot and he became good enough to be one of the Pocono Mountain High School’s top members on its rifle team, according to the Scranton Times-Tribune.

Vincent Cardo, of Blakeslee, who was a teammate of Frein’s in the early 2000s, told the newspaper that Eric was quiet and kept to himself, but was also big into conspiracy theories, such as the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

Meanwhile, Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Adam Reed told The Associated Press that the focus of the search remains in the same general area as the past two days, but has moved slightly to the southeast.

Police are constantly following up on information they receive, Reed said. He declined to go into specifics about why the shift occurred or what new information police have.

The search for Frein entered its 17th day on Monday. Authorities believe they have him contained within a 5-square-mile perimeter around his parents’ home in Canadensis.

Frein is described by authorities as a survivalist, marksman and war reenactment enthusiast who planned his attack on police for years, extensively researching how to avoid police manhunts and experimenting with explosives. Frein has held anti-law enforcement views for many years, police said.

Investigators believe he is armed with at least one high-powered rifle, and might have booby-trapped the woods where authorities are looking for him.

  1. Yea, just end the damn event. This drill has gone on long enough and should have been over by now. I think we all learned a lot from this terror exercise and that is that the police can’t find one stupid shooter and have to declare martial law in a certain area and bring in military vehicles like the ROOK and paramilitary soldiers in order to do it. PATHETIC!

    DRILL FAILED!

The government can’t do jackshit to protect us even if We the People, for some stupid reason, wanted them to. The only way to protect ourselves is by us using the power of our God given 2nd Article Rights.

  2. “Frein has managed to elude hundreds of law enforcement officials looking for him in the difficult terrain.”

    Kinda like bin Had.

But he didn’t leave his weapon behind. Plus he was already dead.

    1. I’m sure they’ll raid that abandoned old Scooby Doo hotel nearby and then after supposedly finding and killing him in there, they’ll throw his body in the river, since it is Muslim tradition, even though he’s not a Muslim, but who cares, right? We’re already becoming a Muslim country. 😉

  3. 1 shooter, 1 gun, 1000 cops, 200 armored retreat vehicles. Theycan sell this show to the movies and recover part of the cost to the taxpayer. Make a great satire. Then the T.V. right to such a show and the book deals. Each cops story. How I sat under a shade tree and such. We harased the home owner. All fun comidies there. This goes well for the police and it should solve there pension shortage and let them have a retirement raise.

    1. The show could be called” Hero’s in Action” and could be filmed at a donut shop. This does show just how vulnerable these jokes in costumes really are and you know that has to burn their porky little hams! All that man power and equipment against a guy with a knapsack does make a statement.

  4. Oh Gee! There are actually Americans out there (hell of a lot of them) who have anti-law enforcement views. Can you believe it? I wonder why? How could this be?

I used to be one of their most ardent supporters. Funny thing about education and personal experience with “close calls” with these gangs of uniformed terrorists to open your eyes on who and what they really are. There are good honest hard working Americans who have had their lives either ruined or ended by this scum of the earth. I’ve seen too much to ever trust any of them ever again. If someone tells me they hate COPs now I have the knowledge to understand why. They have ruined their own reputation, and they have only themselves to blame for the hatred and rising rage form the public. It is THEIR fault. No one else’s. If they were concerned people for the wellbeing of the fellow man they would not be in this situation of being hunted, and then eluded by some common man who somehow, and some way decided that he was fed up and is now taking them to war.

Another problem they face is all of the new enemies they are creating by abusing the population while they try to chase this guy trying hard not to run over their own camo hat or PSGT helmet, and being chased by bears. If what they were doing wasn’t so disgusting and terrible it would be almost comical. If he was on his own before he probably is getting help and support now. If they persist in what they are doing they may at some point I would predict encounter another problem. That would be several or a good number of people taking good well placed shots through their soft and chewy body parts. If they go further after that they might just ignite something else that would mean their annihilations. Can you imagine a modern Civil War in the form of a very large insurgency? Not my idea, but someone I’ve talked to recently. That was his assessment. This guy is just as disgusted as I am with the whole scene and he is a former “Gravel Agitator”. It seems I’m not alone in my personal perception and assessment of what has been happening to our country. The POLICE seem to be the heart of the problem. The politicians are giving the anti-constitutional orders, but they are the ones pulling the triggers. I very seriously doubt at this point that it would do any good trying to reach them. They have their mindset that is not going to be changed, and they are on a collision course with the American People. They are a bunch of low grade morons, pretty well organized and equipped, but are lead by high functioning psychopaths who are very capable and in a war with the population they can do a lot of damage before they are finally thrown down. They will loose. No question of that final outcome. This is the primary reason why when I heard Mark Koernke, and Yankee D. it seemed clear that I am not alone as you folks are not alone either, and we can with some (take a deep breath) guts, and some alacrity work toward being able to create some drastic limits on how much damage these mongrels can do to this country and the population when the balloon finally does go up.

    Train as MILITIA

Perfect your skills in getting rid of the problem.
