Syria ground invasion preparation? 3,000 U.S. troops secretly return to Iraq via Kuwait

Over 3,000 US troops have secretly returned to Iraq via Kuwait for missions pertaining to the recent developments in Syria and northern Iraq, Press TV reports.

According to our correspondent, the US troops have secretly entered Iraq in multiple stages and are mostly stationed at Balad military garrison in Salahuddin province and al-Asad air base in al-Anbar province.

Reports say the troops include US Army officers and almost 17,000 more are set to secretly return to Iraq via the same route.

All US troops left Iraq by the end of 2011, after nine years of occupation, as required by a 2008 bilateral security agreement between the two countries. The troops left Iraq for the neighboring Kuwait.

Washington decided to pull out all its troops from Iraq after Baghdad refused to grant legal immunity to the remaining US soldiers.

Washington claims that the only US military presence left in Iraq now is 157 soldiers responsible for training at the US Embassy, as well as a small contingent of marines protecting the diplomatic mission.

US-led forces attacked Iraq in 2003 and toppled Saddam Hussein on the pretext of possessing weapons of mass destruction. But no WMD was ever discovered in Iraq. At the peak of the US-led military operation in Iraq, there were 170,000 US troops and more than 500 bases in Iraq.

More than one million Iraqis were killed as the result of the US-led invasion and subsequent occupation of the country, according to the California-based investigative organization Project Censored.
Comment: With 17,000 US Troops heading close to the Syrian border it is seemingly likely that the fictitious chemical weapons threat card will be played to justify an invasion to topple the Assad regime.

I saw this article early, too.

I’m beginning to wonder why Iran, Russia and China are not stepping up their game yet with all of the troop movement surrounding Syria like they did in Iraq. What the hell are they waiting for? Egypt is having internal problems that are conveniently timed with this so-called Syria invasion and Iran seems to be sitting on their asses when they swore to help out their Syrian friends and the same is said of Russia. And China is sitting in the East, preoccupied with naval war games to give notice to what is going on in the Middle East, let alone Syria.

Distraction is definitely the name of the game for the elite right now, which is why they are in such a hurry to invade at this very moment. It’s the perfect window of opportunity for them and it’s the only way they can officially go in and overthrow Syria without the other countries getting involved. The way things are going, I sadly see Syria falling without Russia, China, Egypt or Iran helping them. Those 4 countries can sit on their asses with their head in a hole like a bunch of ostriches and wait for the trouble to go away like a bunch of sheeple or they can take up arms, unite and fight back before it’s too late.

I don’t know about Iran and China, but Syria, Egypt, and Russia have a Middle Eastern history of falling apart (whether it be psychologically or militarily) and backing down when things heat up with them against Israel, Europe and the U.S. in the Middle East.

I’m beginning to think that Arafat’s death was more than just natural causes (possibly more-likely an assassination) as all of this started to come about shortly after his death as though it were planned and that he was the only thing keeping the PLO alive, which generally he was at the time.

History has shown that in the Middle East, if there is not an organized, credible leader or spokesperson to represent the people in the Middle East, especially the Palestinians, then the countries will fall apart under their own disarray like sand slipping easily through a person’s fingers. I think this is exactly what is happening now and why the elite and Zionists are so hell bent on taking over the Middle East now and suppressing any other leader who shows signs of being another Arafat or someone of that nature.

Iran & russia already have battleships fully loaded with missiles & long-range radar parked in the Syrian port of Tartus.

they have been sitting there for months.
the russians also have a number of ships parked off the coastline.

i think the chinese are just watching, they have no interest in this game.
that will change if Iran is attacked though – china is a major customer of iranian oil & gas.

anybody who thinks this shit cant escalate real fast is drugged or watching fox-news!!

PS: If mankind should survive somehow,.. a thousand years from now, archeologist and historians will probably spent a lot of time debating just what the hell was wrong with us!
