Huffington Post – by Paige Lavender

Rocker Ted Nugent has reportedly apologized for calling President Barack Obama a “subhuman mongrel,” according to the Ben Ferguson Show and CNN.

During an interview on the Ben Ferguson Show Friday, Nugent apologized for the comments, which he made in January 2014. A post on the show’s Facebook page announced the apology:

BREAKING NEWS: TED NUGENT JUST SAID HE IS SORRY TO PRESIDENT OBAMA ON THE SHOW!

Nugent did not apologize to Obama, but did apologize for using the term. He said he apologized on behalf of Texas attorney general Greg Abbott — who is campaigning for governor, with his “blood brother” Nugent at his side — and politicians like Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas.), who criticized the rocker for the statement.

“I do apologize — not necessarily to the President — but on behalf of much better men than myself,” Nugent said, calling the comments “streetfighter terminology.”

“I apologize for using the term,” Nugent said. “I will try to elevate my vernacular to the level of those great men that I’m learning from in the world of politics.”

          1. European American i understand your sentiment. However your vote has not counted for a long time. the whole thing is is a stage show to make one think he is participating in the election. several years ago i realized that voting was nothing but a manipulation, and is an insult to my somewhat limited intelligence. thus i do not participate in this procedure any more. The lesser of 2 evils is not a choice, it is an appointment.

          2. I was being facetious, Paul, in a neighborly way. I stopped voting long ago, also, when I realized it was a one party system with two contestants auditioning for the lead role. It’s just entertainment for those running the show, keeping the malleable mush minds of the masses in suspense, since in the end, they “tally the votes”.

          3. Hey European American .. sorry i misread you. I am so sick of people not being awake. their ignorance/stupidity continues to astound me.

          4. EA,
Are you my buddy from shtfplan a while back?
If so, no hard feelings, welcome to the trenches brother.

  1. What the hell is he apologizing to Obummer for? That was far more in the nature of a compliment to that commie POS.

It’s all the ‘sub-human mongrels’ (that should have been hyphenated, by the way) out there he should be apologizing to, as they were the ones he was actually insulting.

    1. Did you scroll down to the bottom of the story? He’s apologizing “on behalf of much better men than myself.” (Greg Abbott, Rick Perry, Ted Cruz) “I will try to elevate my vernacular to the level of those great men that I’m learning from in the world of politics.”
      Gag! Barf!
Don’t get Hubby and I started about that trio. LOL

  2. Why should Nugent apologize to Obama when he stated the exact truth???
I am thoroughly disgusted with Ted, he just negated all the positive he’s accomplished because he compromised his integrity and values by deferring to Obomba. He might as well bow down and get it over with!

    1. Ted compromised nothing. He was already a low life elitist neo-con national socialist treasonous piece of shit.

  3. He’s apologizing “on behalf of much better men than myself.” (Greg Abbott, Rick Perry, Ted Cruz) “I will try to elevate my vernacular to the level of those great men that I’m learning from in the world of politics.” BZZ. Wrong answer ted! Your consolation prize is a Squier Stratocaster made in Indonesia and a years supply of Beefaroni
