WEB Notes: These reports have been going on for years now that the states are going to band together to get their rights back. This is pure hogwash. The states never lost their rights, they simply do not claim their rights. Have we all forgotten the tenth amendment?

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.”The states have enormous power, the Constitution gives very little power to the Federal government. But hey all those “Constitutional Lawyers” say different who cares what the paper actually says.
Further, what this article is referring to is a Constitutional Convention which would give those in power an eraser and pencil and allow them to alter the Constitution as they see fit. This is a drastic mistake.
Tennessee has become the fifth state to call for a Convention of States that would amend the U.S. Constitution in an effort to take back states’ rights and limit the power of the federal government.
The Tennessee House of Representatives voted 59-31 on Feb. 4 in favor of SJR 0067, a resolution “to make application to the Congress of the United States to call an Article V convention for the purpose of proposing amendments to the United States Constitution.”

This is not really a good thing.
In the late 1700s power was taken away from a government on the other side of the globe and we got a government on this side of the globe.
Now some want to remove the government on the East Coast and replace it with a government a few miles away. When people get sick of a government a few miles away they will want a government that is their next door neighbor.
So many want to be governed. That is the problem.
Sheeple are trying to solve the government problem with more or different government.
The problem IS government. People do not need to be governed.
Lack or morality is the problem.

As long as the states are taking US government money, the states will do what ever the feds tell them. If the states stop talking fed money, the feds will have a great time cutting them out completely, remember what happened in 1860.
