The Fiscal Cliff – An Ant Strong Arming an Elephant

A government of, for, and by the people.  Where did we lose sight of this simple concept?  We are like children setting out in the hall listening to our parents discuss our fiscal situation and our future.  If you cannot see the contempt our so called public servants openly have for us, you are blind in one eye and can’t see out of the other.

CEOs are invited to the White House to discuss tax hikes on the poor and middle class.  Hell, foreign governments are invited to the White House to discuss US expenditures.  The pretense of an employee/employer relationship between we the people and what is supposed to be our government is long past dispelled.

Of course it is our wealth that they are taking from us but the very idea that we should have any say in how it is spent is portrayed as preposterous.  It is our children who are ground up in the foreign wars, yet again, consulting us in any way is beneath them.

Look at the representatives from the Department of Defense in talking about cuts to the Pentagon budget as a result of the so called fiscal cliff.  Look at their authoritative faces as they address us like a father talking to a twelve year old who has gotten out of line to the point of telling him what he must do.

We see many of these elitists coming up with new schemes to get more money from everyone but them.  It was suggested yesterday to raise taxes on alcohol and tobacco, a further sin tax, and these elitists are expecting those who do not partake to jump on the band wagon to cut their brethrens’ throat and sparing themselves from being bled.

We are delinquent in our duty to remove this tyrannical government consisting of international corporate elitists who truly believe themselves to be the masters of a slave population that makes up the rest of us.  This is arrogance beyond arrogance and they deserve to be slapped down hard.

We have to continue to make a big noise and let them know that not only are they not going to drive us down any further, but that we intend to punish them for the misery they have visited upon us.

Like the sports announcer, Costas, calling for our disarmament, we will see how bold they are once their body guards are put down and they actually have to back their own mouths through the giving and taking of pain and death.

They fact that we are the many and they are the few is about to become undeniable as we are forced to fight or accept the chains of slavery.  How we ever let things get this out of hand is beyond me.  But I do know that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.  A hundred thousand have pushed a hundred million and those hundred million are now going to push back.  They moved us a foot, now we will move them a mile.

God bless the Republic, death to the international corporate mafia, we shall prevail.

  1. Short and concise, summing up the essence.
It would be hard to say it any better.
You are right, we are delinquent in our duties.
Now, time to move from TALKING to DOING …
    God bless us all.
