The mother of all madness

NY Post – by ANDY SOLTIS

‘There was paint instead of blood!’

The Boston bombers’ mother bizarrely claimed in interviews that the blasts that killed three people and injured more than 200 were nothing more than an elaborate ruse by the US government.

“There was paint instead of blood!” a wild-eyed Zubeidat Tsarnaeva insisted in an interview with CNN. It is some kind of show, spectacle . . . something like a really big play performed by actors.”

And the bombers’ father, Anzor Tsarnaev, joined her at a press conference in Makhachkala, the capital of the Russian republic of Dagestan, where they demanded an investigation into what they called the murder of their son, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26.

Zubeidat said her sons were framed “just because they were Muslim.”

She also accused cops of shooting her son, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, in the neck so he couldn’t talk.

“You know what I think? I think now they will try to make my Dzhokhar guilty because they took away his voice, his ability to talk to the world . . . They did not want the truth to come out,” she said.

Anzor banged the table as he revealed plans to go to America.

“I want to say that I am going there to see my son, to bury the older one. I don’t have any bad intentions. I don’t plan to blow up anything. I am not angry at anyone. I want to go find out the truth,” he said.

His wife said she hadn’t even looked at news photos and video of the Boston Marathon bombings and the suffering of victims.

“I haven’t,” she admitted but said she had seen video that convinced her the attack was a fake.

“There is something wrong,” she said.

Asked whether she accepted her sons’ guilt, she said: “No, I don’t. And I won’t. Never.”

At times, she wavered in her claim of a fake bombing and expressed sympathy for the mutilated victims and the dead.

“I really feel sorry for all of them. Really feel sorry for all of them,” she said.

Then she spun a tale of how Tamerlan was actually killed while in police custody.

“What have you done to my son? Why did they have to kill him?” Zubeidat demanded.

But, asked whether she believes her fantasy, she said: “That’s what I want to know, because everybody’s talking about it, that this is a show, that’s what I want to know. That’s what I want to understand.”

Zubeidat, who described herself as a devout Muslim, denounced in accented English what she claimed was a massive conspiracy that set her sons up.

“Politics is a dirty business. I don’t know in whose interest this was. I only know one thing, that my children didn’t do this,” she said. “Everything that has been said does not match our children.”

She said that when she learned of Tamerlan’s death, “I wanted to scream to the whole world: ‘What did you do? What have you done with my son? He was alive. Why did you need to kill him? Why didn’t you send him to Guantanamo or whatever? Why? Why?’ ”

She said US officials had shown Anzor photos of Tamerlan’s body but, “I did not look. I could not believe it is my son.”

The parents returned last year to Dagestan, where they had lived for a little more than a year before emigrating to the United States more than a decade ago.

Zubeidat, defiant and in tears, said immigrating was a mistake.

“Why did I even go there?” she said. “Why? I thought America is going to, like, protect us, our kids. It’s going to be safe.”

Instead, “America took my kids away from me. I’m sure my kind were not involved in anything.”

She could face a 2012 charge of shoplifting if she returned to the US. She said she was assured she would not be arrested but was still deciding whether to go.

Zubeidat said she’d be “happy” to give up her US citizenship.

The parents denied Tamerlan had contact with militants, but they said he frequented a mosque considered by local police to be a hotbed of radical Islamism.

Zubeidat was questioned for nearly seven hours by Russia’s security services Wednesday about Tamerlan’s time in Dagestan.

Pretty sad when someone that wasn’t even born and raised here can see through the bullsh#t, and the sheeple (most of whom WERE born and raised here) are lining the streets and cheering their enslavement.
