Thomas Paine, The American Crisis

It is the madness of folly, to expect mercy from those who have refused to do justice; and even mercy, where conquest is the object, is only a trick of war; the cunning of the fox is as murderous as the violence of the wolf.

  1. Is the Pope catholic, does a bear $hit in the woods, is a frog’s @ss watertight? Are people easily duped? Are there people who would pull the wool over your eyes for their advantage? Wake me up when greed is gone and the fellowship of man is the order of the day. I’m not advocating for socialism but unbridled capitalism is an experiment that may end with the demise of us all. Greed is like a festering boil that grows larger every day. It can infect anyone and, if not addressed, will consume your very soul. We all have a choice, we can either be for one or be for all.
