Reports on the police scanner had police being called to the school about 9:30 a.m. today on reports of someone with a gun in the school’s hallway.

School administrators are asking that parents do not come to the school to pick up their children.

Two TARTA buses were sent to the scene at the request of Toledo Public Schools in case they are needed to transport students, said Jim Gee, TARTA general manager. The buses were deployed at the corner of Fulton and Machen streets. He said they were called by the school district at 10:18 a.m. and sent the two buses immediately.

  1. Oh brother…seriously? The government desperately needs a hobby. That’s all I have to say. So every time someone says “gun”, they send in SWAT and call the MSM for a photo op? Puhhllleeassee…….

I gotta say, these idiot government officials probably call in a fake threat every week just for kicks. I have never heard of or had any gun shootings in high school 15 years ago when I was in school and nothing has really changed since then, so lay off the police state drugs you, government bastards. No one believes your shit anymore. Getting desperate for a war much? Gotta justify your military gear somehow.

  2. “The school is on lock down”

There’s that word again, “lock down”. Why must they continue to use a word that has nothing to do with the issue?

“Lockdown: the confinement of prisoners to their cells for all or most of the day as a temporary security measure.”

    http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/lock%20down

It is NOT and can NEVER be a “lock down”. The students are NOT in prison. They are in a school. They are not locked in a CAGE!!!

Man, that word being falsely used for every gun and terrorist incident is a pet peeve of mine. It drives me nuts. The Communist MSM loves to use that word to reinforce and ingrain that police state mentality into everyone. Someone should sue their ass for false advertising or misuse of words.
