Top Ten ObamaCare Horror Stories The Media Are Covering Up

Breitbart – by John Nolte

Because the mainstream media lobbied every bit as hard as Obama to win passage of ObamaCare, they are every bit as invested in doing whatever is necessary to see that it is perceived as a success. Unfortunately for Americans who expect truth from their media, this means the media are having to manufacture a false reality that says ObamaCare is, to steal a phrase, “doing fine.”

In order to manufacture this phony reality, the media must further sell their blackened soul by violating one of their most cherished principals: reporting on how government policy hits America’s weakest the hardest. It’s just a fact that the worst fallout of ObamaCare is already landing hard on the working class, who are losing work hours, jobs, and their insurance.

Usually when a government policy hits the working class, the media will fall all over themselves to “tell their personal stories.” But not these people. The media perceives these poor souls as sacrifices to a bigger cause known as The State.

So with that in mind, I present to you (with big hat tips to Drudge and Investors Business Daily) the top ten ObamaCare horror stories the media is willfully covering up.

In no particular order…

1. Millions are and will lose the insurance Obama promised they could keep. Because ObamaCare forces employers to offer expensive Cadillac plans but also offers the option of paying a fine for not providing health insurance that can be cheaper than providing it, between seven and twenty million Americans are likely to lose their health insurance coverage according to the Congressional Budget Office. The original estimate was closer to four million.

2. The cost of healthcare premiums is about to further skyrocket. Premium costs have already exploded, but that is a slow-motion explosion. In the near future, we could see costs double or worse. Naturally, these costs will hit an already burdened middle class hardest.

3. Lost jobsLost jobs.

The Federal Reserve’s March beige book on economic activity noted that businesses “cited the unknown effects of the Affordable Care Act as reasons for planned layoffs and reluctance to hire more staff.”

Meanwhile, human resources consulting firm Adecco found that half of the small businesses it surveyed in January either plan to cut their workforce, not hire new workers, or shift to part-time or temporary help because of ObamaCare.

4. Potential doctor shortages that will mean rationing: The healthcare industry is already a bureaucratic quagmire. ObamaCare is about to add steroids. As the profession becomes tyrannized by government, the talented people currently practicing medicine plan to get out sooner than expected. Who knows how many will choose not to get in.

Doctor shortages are what lead to the nightmare known as rationed care. Here’s an unsettling example already being practiced.

5. Somewhere around $800 billion in tax increases will hit America’s middle class. This added burden will not only further oppress a middle class already reeling from a drop in wages over the last few years, but could damage the overall economy.

6. Inflation, the cruelest tax on the poor. When businesses get socked with added costs brought about by higher taxes and burdensome government mandates, they pass those cost along to the consumer in the form of higher prices.

7. Added bureaucracy. Even those Obama lapdogs over at the Washington Post’s Wonk Blog are admitting that applying for health care is about to get more burdensome than the byzantine paperwork involved in buying a home.

8. To cut costs or to avoid having to provide insurance, workers on the economic margins are already losing hours, which means a lower paycheck. There are a million sad stories in ObamaVille; here are just a few of them.

9. ObamaCare is projected to add $6.2 TRILLION to a deficit the GAO has already declared “unsustainable.” That’s “trillion” with a “t”.

10. More taxes than currently estimated are likely to hit because of situations like this one.

Three years ago, Obama, Democrats, and his media lied to us about cutting the cost of health care, being able to keep our insurance, and not taxing the middle class.

Today, those lies and what ObamaCare is and will do to the working and middle class are the biggest untold story in America.

The media is currently engaged in an ObamaCare cover-up every bit as big, corrupt, and damaging as the ongoing Libya cover up.

  1. Part time workers used to get around 32-35 hours a week where I now work. Thanks to Obamacare, hours are reduced to 20 hours a week. Most part timers like myself get anywhere from 8 to 12 hours a week, sometimes 16. Can anyone tell me how raising the minimum wage to $9 an hour is supposed to help when you’re working far less hours? I never seen such madness in this country. This is definitely not the America I remember growing up in.

    1. Do you really think anyone in our government is capable of arithmetic, or even attempts it?

I stopped hoping for them to do anything sensible long ago. The only function they serve is to lie about how they’re screwing us.

  2. Everyone’s been warned, and informed by now, and the people who have chosen to live the comfortable lie rather than face the ugly truth aren’t going to be much good to anyone anyway, because they’re either too dumb, or too cowardly to help our cause.

Anyone who still believes the Zionist media is either an idiot, or too scared to face the truth, so let ’em all get in line for their lethal injections, and when they die, we’ll all have something to celebrate.

If this is going to be the land of the free, it’s also going to have to be the home of the brave, and I don’t expect people who are afraid of the truth to be of much use to anyone in the future, either.

Good-bye, you idiots. Get your ObamaCare injections, and get out of the way. There’s a food shortage, and it doesn’t make sense to feed someone who will produce nothing but more idiots for society to baby-sit.

  3. Anyone with a firing neuron would have seen this coming (Not to mention the illegals the tax payers are covering with medicaid & or other programs) our healthcare programs were failing. Even before Obamacare was mentioned, I would see signs in Dr.’s offices stating they weren’t taking new patience/medicare patience/medicaid patients. They (Dr.s) were already waiting for 2 1/2 to 3 years of back payments from medicare alone. Medical “Care” rationing had already begun. That said, Henry would it be ok if I send you a copy of the paper I received (My Mom died end of Jan. 2013) from the State she died in? I will leave in names and dates (So you can verify & know it’s real and, I ask you black out ((Included names and other personal info))if you post/publish anywhere) to let people know what they can expect if anyone should ever have a parent or spouse that needs/ed help outside their own insurance and medicare/soc.sec.. It’s been a thorn in my side since I received it and I think people need to know.

  4. Thank you Digger, Tho, I had to take of things after my then Husband died in 97 (Yeah, he was young) 1 st learning experience in these matters, I was exector of my Dads estate back in 06. Though it was a lot of work (Beside the usual funeral arrangments, paper work, filings and all that stuff) I thought taking care of my Moms would be easier as she didn’t have any assets. Yep the poor are easy targets for sure. I’m not sure how long the state will bother me, or how far it will go at this point. If Henry thinks it’s important and wants the info, I can have it ready in a few hrs. (Takes a bit of time to go through the paperwork, copy ect.) I will be more than happy to send it on to him. Thank you again Digger 🙂

    1. Yea RT Hawk. I took care of my parents plus worked a job at 12 hr.s a day. I found my dad dead and it took 3 phone calls for the ambulence, I also took care of my mom untill I could not do it anymore about 15 yr.s ago. My mom had to go to a nursing home. I couldn`t do it no more. She was calling the cops during one of those dementia episodes and actually getting me in trouble. Anyway I do know how hard it is RT. I would do it all again reguardless though kiddo. You sound like a real good kid there RT Hawk. Keep the faith RT eh 🙂

      1. Wow Digger! That’s a lot on your plate! 3 phone calls!?! I am Sorry for your losses as well. I do understand regarding your Mom, the last case I had was an AD client. Worked 70+ hrs. there (My (informal) second address hehe!) and on call 24/7, she was like a big sister to me. The care itself a labor of love and sounds like you are a Great son! 🙂
! LOL! on the good kid, I try hehe! Yep, I’d have it no other way and feel blessed to have had them all in my life (Selfishly I would have liked to have had them all around longer) for the amount of time I did. Gotta keep the faith, you too 🙂

    2. Hey RT, until I read that comment, I just assumed you were a guy. Sorry, but I always do, unless it’s definitely a female name, such as Angel, or Cathleen who post here.
      Very cool.

      1. Hehehe! Probably because I let go and write like a sailor on here sometimes. When young, was quite the tomboy and grease monkey, being the oldest hung out with my Dad a lot. Not untill HS did I discover heels and make-up, hehe!

        1. I’m glad to see more women are waking up to the NWO’s agenda lately. I’ve managed to wake up a fair number of guys up till now, but women seem to be exceptionaly adverse to the notion that they’re not the ones in charge.

          Just teasin’.

(Besides, if I didn’t add that disclaimer, I’d catch hell for it) LOL 🙂

  5. As for me, I’ll pay the tax. I refuse to take part in this scam. The zombies can yak all they want about it, but how does the IRS deal with the fact that those who refuse to be part of this will be many…16,000 agents, eh? 16 million won’t be enough! Stay healthy, my friends….

  6. Orwellian-speak: “Affordable Health Care Act” …
Obummercare “forces employers to offer expensive Cadillac plans …The cost of healthcare premiums is about to further skyrocket. Premium costs have already exploded, … around $800 billion in tax increases will hit America’s middle class. … Inflation, the cruelest tax on the poor. … businesses get socked with added costs brought about by higher taxes and burdensome government mandates … to avoid having to provide insurance, workers on the economic margins are already losing hours, which means a lower paycheck. … ObamaCare is projected to add $6.2 TRILLION to a deficit the GAO has already declared “unsustainable.” That’s “trillion” with a “t”. … More taxes than currently estimated are likely to hit.
