U.S. Marshal and NYPD Detective Wounded in Village Shootout

Gunfire broke out on West Fourth Street July 28, 2014. They are searching my neighborhood right now. We were wondering what all the sirens and copter cover were. It is directly overhead.

News 4 stated they were 2 US Marshals. That is all I know, other than it is very loud and I do not plan on stepping outside.

  1. Things have finally quieted down. 2 US Marshals and 1 NYPD detective were shot. The “fugitive” is dead (knew he wouldn’t make it out alive).

  2. “The fugitive, whose name and age were not immediately released, was critically injured, sources said.

All 3 that he shot had non-life threatening injuries. One got shot in the butt (probably running away), this guy gets smoked, and you know why?

This 5150 case went up against cops armed with automatic weapons with nothing more than a REVOLVER.

Only way to fix stupid that I know of. Rather permanent, though.
