The UK government has banned all publicly funded institutions from boycotting goods and services produced or provided by the companies generally deemed unethical. That includes the products made in Israeli settlements in the occupied West bank. Our London correspondent Mohammad Walji says the government is considering severe penalties for any public body that disobeys the new law.
