All this talk about stimulus packages and bailouts… A billion dollars… A hundred billion dollars… Eight hundred billion dollars… One TRILLION dollars… What does that look like?

  1. Another way to visualize a trillion dollars:

If you spent a million dollars every day, including Saturdays and Sundays (7 days per week), from the birth of Christ until today (2015 years), you will only have spent $735,475,000,000

(seven-hundred and thirty five billion, or almost three-quarters of the way to ONE trillion dollars)

A million dollars is a shoe-box stuffed with hundred dollar bills.
