The alleged Los Angeles International Airport gunman carried a note with him today that expressed anti-government sentiments and suggested he expected to die in an airport shootout, according to law enforcement sources.

The suspect has been identified by the FBI as Paul Ciancia, 23. He is believed to have homes in Los Angeles and Pennsville, N.J.

The note found at the scene ended with the letters “NWO,” according to law enforcement sources, which is believed to stand for “New World Order.” Law enforcement sources also said a large number of .223 caliber rounds were found at the airport.

Officers followed Ciancia to the rear of Los Angeles International Airport’s Terminal 3, where he was shot and taken into custody, according to Mayor Eric Garcetti.

David Bowdich of the FBI said Ciancia is receiving medical attention at a hospital.

The TSA confirmed the identity of the officer killed as Gerardo I. Hernandez, 39, who has been with the TSA since 2010.

Suspect’s Family Feared He Was Suicidal

Earlier today, Ciancia’s father contacted police in Pennsville, N.J., with the concern that his son may be suicidal, Chief Allen Cummings of the Pennsville Police Department told ABC News.

“Their younger child got a text message from Paul stating that there were some comments in there about his wellbeing and he wanted to possibly take his own life,” Cummings said.

Cummings said he called the LAPD today and asked for officers to “try to get a well-being check” on Ciancia.

Officers went to Ciancia’s apartment before the shooting and talked to his roommates, Cummings said.

Around the time of the shooting, LAPD officers called Cummings, unaware that Ciancia was the gunman, to let him know that they had satisfactorily completed the well-being check.

Authorities said they believe Ciancia acted alone, however they will investigate whether he has any ties to domestic terrorists.

Los Angeles World Airports Police Chief Patrick Gannon said the shooter was armed with an assault rifle, blasted his way past airport screeners and “got back very far into the terminal.” Gannon said the shooter initially opened fire before “proceeding up into the screening area” where he shot at TSA officers.

Police “tracked him through the airport… and engaged him in gunfire,” Gannon said, eventually taking him into custody.

One TSA officer was fatally wounded, while several others were hit by gunfire.

  1. Where are all of these people getting these assault rifles from? All I can find are some on collectors sites that cost upward of $10,000! Oh that’s right they are getting them from those Mexican cartels the ATF gave them enough to sell too. Oh wait I’ve said too much, dammit now I’m an asshole for speaking about what they’ve done. I guess that’s it for me I’m on a list now!

  2. @Nobodysname: They are getting them from the FBI which has set up almost EVERY “terrorist” and shooter activilty within the USA since 9/11.

Consider this: The rapid police response to today’s deadly shooting at a terminal in the Los Angeles Int’l Airport (LAX) was no accident, according to LAX Police Chief Patrick Gannon, because his officers prepared for an event identical to the shooting weeks in advance.

Plus that LAX following in the footsteps of the unlawful LAPD which has murdered more people then NYPD or pretty close to more – including one of their own who they burned to death.

I would say that the illegal LAPD (since all involved broke their contract and have been “impersonating an officer of the law” for a few years now – more in that later) and quite possibly the LAX Police were involved in the set-up at the LAX.

Then there is “The suspect has been identified by the FBI ” REALLY quickly and the FBI was on scene once again – always where they are needed, especially when they are the unlawful agency that set it up.

“The note found at the scene ended with the letters “NWO,” according to law enforcement sources, which is believed to stand for “New World Order.” Law enforcement sources also said a large number of .223 caliber rounds were found at the airport.”

As if shooting up at any US airport would have any affect on the NWO. They really think we are stupid. Everyone knows that the TSA used at the airports are just shills. If it was major banking, or something like that the note might make sense. Wonder who wrote it…

Very few here in the USA believes their lies anymore.

We will prosecute them for the treasonous actions against the USA and her people, and for all the criminal and civil crime they have committed at every level involved, even those who just printed the copies for them or cooked their food, fed their dogs, cleaned up after them.

All of it enabled them. Just say “NO” has a new meaning: It means let them cook for themselves, get their own copies, defend themselves, etc since if you assist them in any way under OUR laws YOU are made a criminal.

Do not “just follow orders” or “just do your job” as it is NOT a valid defense in the US courts. Remember (or look up) the Nuremberg Trials and see for yourself.

Remember all judges who broke their contracts will also be removed, prosecuted for all and any crimes they have committed while on the bench, up to and including treason against the USA and her people.

  3. For what it is worth, I did find one mention of a Paul A. Ciancia listed in the records. His name shows up in an obituary for his mother, Susan who died in 2009 at age 48 in Pennsville, NJ. I wonder what happened to him between 2009 and 2013.

This ABC article states that he had homes in NJ and Los Angeles. The only similar name I could find in LA (Orange County) was a Paul Cianci – spelled without the final “a” who was born in 1985.

Yes, because when I go shooting somebody, the first thing I want to do is to make sure I have a note explaining why I am doing something as well as my ID, and any other information that can easily identify and implicate me, especially since I know I will be either arrested or most likely shot and killed by the police. (Sarcasm)

Next thing you know, the next shooter will be found carrying a Bible, so that our psychotic government and MSM will say, “See! Here’s proof that all Christians are terrorists or extremists! We must ban all Christians!”

Think it won’t happen? Think again because you know it will.

  5. “Earlier today, Ciancia’s father contacted police in Pennsville, N.J., with the concern that his son may be suicidal,………
Their younger child got a text message from Paul stating that there were some comments in there about his wellbeing and he wanted to possibly take his own life,” Cummings said.”

    Very convenient.
