Cheesecake Factory, Hallmark, Disney, and Others Now Pushing Amnesty

The participating companies mentioned in this article, must be put on notice for their treasonous intentions. The only economy that would grow from foreign workers would be the corporate coffers from paying lower wages and the foreign workers who would be employed, with the average American being left out in the cold, AGAIN!

We all know it’s near impossible to stop purchasing services and products from all these traitorous entities, but if we could just cut back on those purchases, we could turn the screw on them. Personally, there are only three on the list that I have a limited commerce with. All the others can SUCK WIND! I do without them, and will continue to do so, for as long as it takes.

Center for Immigration Studies – by Jon Feere

Officials representing over 100 corporate interests issued a letter to Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) demanding the legalization of 11 million illegal aliens and increased legal immigration through the creation of new visa programs. As these companies put it in their letter:

[W]e strongly support efforts to bolster the availability of a workforce at all skills levels, through a separate visa program as well as by creating a path to legal status for those already here.

The companies include well-known names like Hallmark Cards, Disney, CVS, the Cheesecake Factory, American Airlines, Wendy’s, McDonald’s, the Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Coca-Cola, T-Mobile, AT&T, UPS, Rubbermaid, and McCormick spices — just to name a few examples.

These companies cite a recent Congressional Budget Office report, arguing that the Senate bill would grow the economy. They conveniently left out the CBO estimate that even though the amnesty might make the economy larger, it would simultaneously make American workers poorer by lowering the wages of American workers for a decade or more. The companies claim the bill is an “opportunity to level the playing field for U.S. employers” but it is more of an effort to level the wages of American citizens.

It is difficult to understand how these companies can feel justified in demanding the importation of cheap labor with a straight face at a time when tens of millions of Americans are unemployed. The number of working-age (16 to 65) native-born Americans who are not working — unemployed or out of the labor market — stood at 57.5 million in the second quarter of 2013. The unemployed population is spread throughout the labor market and includes 25 million with no more than a high school education, 16 million with some education beyond high school, and nine million with at least a bachelor’s degree.

The letter is available online. The names of the companies pushing to amnesty illegal aliens, double legal immigration, and undermine immigration law enforcement are listed here:

  1. Many big wig businesses are hurting now as more and more do without or find a local business to get what they need. When I cant I go to ebay and deal with regular people for goods for what I need. I dont have a car, a cell phone or any kind of insurance. I have learned to do without a lot and I do not suffer at all. In fact it is a kind of freedom of my choosing and my bills are very small. It is amazing what you do not need.

  2. I cannot afford to eat at the Cheesecake Factory, I print my own cards at my computer, and I boycotted Disney years ago over “Gay Day.” I go to Walgreens, NOT CVS, I haven’t flown since Bush’s TSA NAZIs took over the airports, the Olive Garden and Red Lobster are gross, I don’t drink carbonated garbage like Coca-Cola, I don’t own a cellphone, and I don’t use MacCormack spices. No change in my lifesty.e

  3. Funny how most of them are call center companies. Not only do I have to press 1 for English, I will be getting the “THANK YOU! CALL AGAIN!” or the “Gracias, senor. Adios” line after every call no matter what.

  4. I honestly don’t know how much more treasonous they can get before the people decide to wake the F**K UP and do something! I’m completely through the roof on this one.

  5. Thank you Paraclete!
I’m printing off copies to give to some of these business’ while I’m out on errands tomorrow (Might as well drop in and let them know people are aware) quite a few in my errand area, and copies to enclose with my bill(s) with the 2 companies I do as limited business with as possible that are on the list.
    Dang!
I knew bloomin’ brand (Just looked them up) had outback steak house, didn’t know bonefish grill and fleming’s steakhouse too, I used to like to go if/when could 🙁 Can’t afford it anymore anyway. (Still dropping off copies tho) when and if I can again, I won’t go back and they will know exactly how I feel about it!

  6. Anyone who thinks Americans are living high-on-the-hog with their minimum-wage jogs supports amnesty.

Boycott, boycott, boycott. The whole list of slave drivers up there is looking to crush us all, and they depend on your dollars for strength. Stop feeding and fueling the people who are killing you.

  7. Verizon is the only one on that list that I’m guilty of using. They do have the best phone/internet coverage service available, and were I to opt out for an inferior one, they’d still get a nice chunk from me for early contract termination.
