  1. For die-hard coca cola fanatics, the purported original recipe printed in the Atlanta Constitution-Journal in 1979 is here: http://www.sheknows.com/food-and-recipes/articles/824619/coca-cola-recipe-revealed.

    There’s also a good recipe at http://food-handler.blogspot.com/2008/02/coca-cola-how-to-make-coca-cola-at-home.html

If you’re really into the mouth feel of your cola, rather than going through the 7X formula construction tool acrobatics, try substituting part of the sugar syrup recipe with some gomme syrup, http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2012/07/diy-gomme-syrup-recipe-how-to-make-gum-syrup-for-cocktails.html, except let the initial mixture sit for up to 48 hours to dissolve, then strain the completed syrup through a fine mesh strainer. And lastly, rather than all that sugar, substitute stevia to sweeten.

  2. There’s no reason anyone should be consuming or buying any Coca-Cola products.

“But I like Coke” isn’t a reason. It’s childish whining. They’re the enemy and you’re helping them with every can of that sludge you buy.

  3. Never liked Coke.

Not the kind that comes out of a bottle or can, anyway.

But that was many years ago.
