Mexico celebrated independence…from what?

Mexican independenceThe Black Sphere – by Kevin Jackson

Mexico celebrated its independence the other day, and I wondered, “Independence from what?”

Mexicans are so proud of their country that many of them are LEAVING it.

In a recent poll, 33 percent of Mexicans believe they would be better off in America, and 60 percent disapprove of Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto’s economy.

Speaking of Nieto, this is the man who got upset because Texas deployed National Guard troops along its border with Mexico, calling the act “unpleasant” and “reprehensible.”

Though Mexicans are streaming by the thousands unfettered into the sovereign territory of America and specifically Texas, Nieto says the Texas border should not be militarized and issues should be solved jointly.

I’d say Texas has been trying, and uncivilized Mexicans won’t honor Texas sovereignty. It’s certainly clear to most people that Mexico is attempting to reclaim Texas (and most of America) as their own.

Back to Mexican independence.

Mexico used to be known for lots of things, like food, culture, tourism, their boxers, and friendly people. Not anymore.

Today Mexico is known for drug cartels and corruption.

If it weren’t for NAFTA and the business America does with Mexico in the Maquilladores, Mexico would look like Afghanistan.

Mexico is run by banditos, with the cartels calling the shots. Mexico is anything but independent. If we gave the United States to Mexico, it would look like East LA and be about as safe as Detroit within a decade.

Mexico is dependent. They are dependent on the American taxpayer, and they are hopeful that Liberals help them get their way.
