Pipe bombs found at Aurora home

Denver Post

AURORA, Colo.—Aurora police say one person has been arrested after several pipe bombs and bomb-making materials were found inside a home.

Spokeswoman Cassidee Carlson says police were responding to a small fire in a basement Tuesday when they found suspicious materials. Authorities also found and removed two explosives from a shed in back.

Michael Grover is facing charges of possession of explosives and was being held in the Aurora jail on $6,000 bond.

Carlson says police are getting a search warrant to look for more dangerous materials. Authorities say they also found illegal fireworks. Federal investigators have also joined the case.

Four houses were evacuated as a precaution.

  1. We’ll probably never know who actually made the bombs and put them there, but it makes a scary headline for the sheeple, and allows them to imprison a dissident.

  2. $6000 doesn’t seem very high for a bond on charges of that nature tho’ bond might be increased as the investigation reveals new evidence.

  3. Wouldn’t surprise me in the least to see the investigation lead to an acquaintance, friend, or relative of James Holmes.

Or even Adam Lanza, for that matter.

  4. $6,000 bail?
    Theres more to this.
    Calling attention to a well-known-to-the-public city….’finding’ explosives…and the bail is $6,000?
    RiiiIIIIIIIIiiiiight.

Could it be something to do with regulating/controlling gunpowder(personal reloaders) now?
