Rustic Outfitters store

LOGO1.2Rustic Outfitters in Corvallis Oregon is a self-reliance store owned and operated by Patriots. We believe that a well informed and stocked community is the only way to live free.

We are currently finding people in the community to host self-reliance classes displaying their knowledge of outdoor skills and our areas resources. By teaching others we can all become informed making it easier for us to ALL live free.

We aim to carry the best products at affordable prices. That is why we carry many store-able foods brands, survival tools we have tried, outdoor gear that is durable, and the odds and ends not seen in many “camping” stores.

We currently carry Honeyville Farms freeze dried and dehydrated food in #10 cans. We keep many fruits, veggies and meat in stock including CORN, BROCCOLI, PEAS, ONIONS, CELERY, ZUCCHINI, CARROTS, MASHED POTATOES, MIXED VEGGIES, APRICOTS, PINEAPPLE, MANGO, BANANAS, APPLES, PEACHES, STRAWBERRIES, BLUEBERRIES, RASPBERRIES, TURKEY, CHICKEN, AND BEEF.  These are packaged and shipped from Honeyville, Utah. They are nitrogen sealed and have an indefinable shelf-life. They add no preservatives other than nitrogen.

We also carry Patriot Pantry brand food from My patriot supply. These are meals in pouches. Just add hot water and serve. We sell individual 4 serving pouches and 4 week supplies. I like these better than Mountain House which we are currently testing to see if we want to carry them. Shelf life of about 25 years.

Out outdoor tools dept is constantly growing. We offer entrenchment tools by SOG,space blankets of a few types, fire starting tools and ferro rods, cotton bandanas, pack grills, dry bags, bank line, paracord, hand made oil cloths, local made brain tanned buckskins/drums/quivers/pouches, and more. We are happy to have 32oz stainless steal water bottles and other camp cooking gear. Not to mention the great nature guides that are waterproof and float.

The medical supply inventory is a little behind. We do offer CELOX blood clotting agent, CURAD anti-viral masks, Iodine tabs and liquid, and a few other items. Very soon an order for med and surgical kits will be going out. The vendor we are working with is the largest supplier of survival and medical kits for the bush-plane industry. They also sell most kits that the US military deploy with.

As if that is not enough, we are a full service electronics repair shop and a custom furniture manufacturer. One service we also provide is internet ordering. We order from the web anything people want. This is handy for people who don’t want to put their name on an order or just don’t do bank cards. They can put down a deposit and pay in cash. We don’t care what you name is, and wont provide that info to our vendors.

Coming soon- a full line of homesteading tools. From solar panels(in stock) to hand crank kitchen tools. We also are expanding on our 5V/USB devices. These range from extended phone batteries to solar and hand crank charging devises. Our motto is “19th century living with 21st century know how”.

As of now our website is non-existent but we would like to get it up soon. For now the contact info can be found at orangeelectronix.com . This was the stores name before the change over last November. I am willing to do email or over the phone ordering. I will also offer free shipping to the trenches members on most orders over $50. Just let Ryan know when ordering.

  1. Looks like a great store. Beautiful furniture also. Will note the contact name as well. Thanks also for the discount to the Trenchers

  2. Thanks Nottoobitter. : )

You’re store is just up the highway from where my sister lives in Grants Pass. And I love that table in the last picture! It’s absolutely beautiful!
    . . .

    1. Yes.
The tables top is made from Douglas fir pulled out of the Columbia river that was washed down during floods. The bottom is Filbert also known as Hazelnut. They can get pretty crazy looking.

      1. Reminds me of the burl wood tables that were so popular back in the 60’s/70’s. Nature’s piece of art for sure.
        . . .

      1. Unfortunately, yes. Back to work in the morning.

In fact, this is about all for me tonight. Can barely stay awake. Loooooong drive.

  3. Just noticed this for the first time. Sorry it took me so long. Looks like a nice place, Nottoobitter. I see you got the Patriot Pantry food supply. Good stuff.

By the way, I also love the table. 😉

Good luck with the store and thanks for posting.
