It is impossible to cover every lie even though multiple lies are created over and above the first. Also it is believed that it is very hard to remember lies. The truth yes it is imprinted on your brain but a lie is not. You really have to have a phenominal memory to remember the lies. Additionally the more lies that are spoken usually expose the truth more readily because of multiple people telling multiple stories.

An excellent point, one that probably most persons would not think about. But definitely the memory of an actual experience is much richer than trying to remember a lie!
