I served over 6 yrs at Florida State Prison in Starke,Florida,and would love to talk to a reporter about my experiences,I also served over 12 yrs at U.C.I.(the former state prison in neighboring Raiford,Union County).All in all I served 23 yrs (1 term) in Florida Dept of Corrections.I could write a book about it.I was in FSP,during the Frank Valdez death beating by guards.I remember Sgt.Crosby too when he was at UCI(nicknamed “The Rock”),before he was promoted as head of D.O.C. I have been permanently scarred by their punishment of people,instead of rehabilitation.I filed a Writ of Mandamus in the Fl.Supreme Ct,and won a decision by the court that freed me,after serving 2 yrs more than my sentence required,and also freed more than 7200 others eventually. I now live in the Mid-West as a free man who can vote!!!! All I can say is that Florida can suck the fluids out of my nuts!!!! I survived,but not many did.
