Two people injured in accidental shooting at Raleigh gun show

Shooting at Raleigh gun showWonder who that ‘official’ is really working for. It managed to get the show closed for the day.

UPDATE:  The Dixie Gun and Knife show in Raleigh will be open tomorrow (Sunday, January 20th). However, no private sales of firearms will be allowed. Again, I have to ask why?

What are the facts at this time?

1. The event was shut down due to circumstances caused by law enforcement, not any private individual.
2. People inside lost their entry fee ($8.00) and vendors lost revenue. People who were outside were turned away.
3.  The status of the show tomorrow is not known.

It appears that both individuals are fine. Thank the Lord. Now the only questions are why were the above actions done?

At least two people were injured Saturday afternoon in an apparent accidental shooting at the gun show being held at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after 1 p.m., and two people were loaded into ambulances. A witness told WRAL that a gun went off after being checked by an official at a safety check-in location, hitting a man in the hand and a woman in the side. The Raleigh Fire Department confirmed that the Dixie Gun and Knife Show would be closed for the remainder of the day Saturday. There was no word on whether the show, which is held inside the Jim Graham Building, would continue Sunday.

    1. Actualy NC on century link home page they had this on their web site today. They said 5 people were injured at three gun shows in Ohio, Indiana , and NC. Sounds like another set up to shut the shows down or they are realy F`n dumb. I was gonna post the article but didn`t think we all needed to hear about some idiot bringing a shotgun that was loaded to a gun show. Tell ya what I`ll send it right now .

  1. The stupid ass brought a loaded gun to the show to sell it. These are the people that make it bad for the rest of us, who are good gun people.

  2. how do we know it wasnt some government scumbag put a live round into a gun – maybe sneaking it in through the ejection-port with the slide held back.

    just so this can happen?
