What if he attacks from the front? Do you turn around and try to aim that thing, or is it wiser to turn around and spray him from a can in your hand? Wouldn’t you hear him coming from behind, and have at least a few seconds to turn around and spray him with a can of spray that you can actually aim?
I have black bears here that generally keep their distance, and no experience whatsoever with Grizzlies, but this thing still seems a little silly to me.
